Received a used pair of sandals. They were shipped in no Birkenstock box and a plastic Amazon resealable shipping bag. Returned.

I have been wearing Birkenstocks for 20 plus years, so I know how they feel when breaking them in. These we SO stiff and painful! There is no way I’d be able to try to break them in, they gave me a blister after wearing them around the house for an hour. I’m sad to be returning them bc they are beautiful.

The buckles come undone and pop up / have never stayed down, even after a summer of wear. While the style is super cute, it’s annoying to constantly tighten the buckles back or rebuckle. I have other pairs of birks and this has never been an issue, only the big buckle style.

Although advertised as equal to a regular width, this isn't so. It is narrow, even though with the buckles a regular foot can fit into it, it isn't comfortable with the ridges around the footbed. It is not comfortable and not comparable to a regular width Birkenstock. Very disappointing. I would love Birkenstock to make any of the big buckle shoes in a regular width.

I have to give this a 1 star for the Rose color big buckle shoe. The color is horrible it has black specs all over it and one buckle was almost all black. worst color ever

DO NOT BUY THIS REMAINING RISE BIRKENSTOCK. THERE IS A REASON IT KEEPS GOING FROM 1 ITEM LEFT TO BEING IN STOCK. IT’S BROKEN AND KEEPS GETTING RETURNED.

These shoes were so uncomfortable for me. I really hated all the bumps on the sole.

This review is specifically for the Arizona Big Buckle, in Ceramic Blue. I hated this shoe. First, let me say that I love Birkenstocks, have worn them for many, many years, and I currently own about a half dozen pairs. First, this shoe ran oddly large, which I have never seen in Birkenstocks. Generally, the sizing is extremely reliable. Second, whatever treatment has been done to the leather upper, makes it feel very hard, more like plastic than leather. Unfortunate, because the pattern is really cute. The large buckles, especially if you already have a large foot, looks very clunky, and made my feet look even bigger. Third, the deal breaker was the footbed. I don't know if it is leather, but it has a completely different feel than every other Birkenstock footbed. It is extremely smooth and slick, not like the suede that you have with most Birks. Much like the upper, it feels more like plastic than leather. I felt like my foot would be sliding around on that footbed, instead of feeling secure. Because of the large sizing, the weirdly slick footbed, and the hard, uncomfortable upper, I ended up returning these. I'll continue to wear Birks, but just not this model.

These are the worst Birkenstocks I've ever tried on. Doesn't even seem like the same company made them. The "blue" color buckles have 80s brass buckles. Hideous! And the footbed is the most uncomfortable footbed I've ever tried on. Really can't believe these are Birkenstocks.
