My second pair of Birks in almost 15 years. These Birks run large - I took a 39 (8 - 8 1/2) when I am consistently a size 9. I was a little taken aback that these only came in narrow, but they were just fine on my normal width foot. They are a slimmer fitting Birk sandal, which I prefer because they don't make my feet look huge. I didn't have trouble adjusting the buckle (which is ADORBS!) - I did have to adjust all the way down to keep my foot from slipping on the footbed. I'm not sure what the footbed is, but I would guess that it's a treated leather. My right foot does slide a bit on the footbed, so I am getting a squeaking noise when I walk at a brisk pace, so for this reason I'm on the fence if I'll keep them. I hope the next time I try them that this noise will disappear.

Birkenstock makes a good shoe. My foot is not made to feel comfortable in the Birkenstock footbed. My recommended size was too big. These shoes are just not my brand due to my foot, not their quality.

The style and quality of these is great, but the fit was very odd. I ordered the 5-5.5 US/36 EU and it fit like a 6-6.5US, the buckle comes up pretty high and it dug into the top of my foot. Though it's marked as narrow, I'd say it fits more like a true wide shoe than even a regular width one. And I was surprised how little cushioning there is, it's a notably thin, stiff sole, though the cork might still be shock absorbing enough to be comfortable for longer walks. Sad I had to return them, they looked really cool but just did not fit my foot at all.

I love what these Birkenstocks look like, definitely more of an elevated feel that I really like! However, I’ve only had them for less than month, and the sole of them have already worn way down. It’s sad that Birkenstock has taken a decline with the quality of their product, especially with them being so expensive. I’m thinking they may only last another month or two sadly. What a sad thing because I really love these shoes. I’m not even sure if I would buy again.

Wanted to love these but they hurt my foot when wearing them. I think the buckle rubbed into the top of my foot too much

I love most Birkenstock styles. Mostly Arizona. These are super cute, but keeping them on while walking feels very awkward. I don't think I could walk very far in them. They also seem just a tiny bit smaller than usual.

I was so disappointed. The toe bed is a different shape from other Birks I wear and my last three toes bumped and even hung over the edge of the top. It was very uncomfortable.

I wanted to love these so much! They are super cute but not made for anything but really narrow feet unfortunately

I own this shoe with the suede footbed and it is perfect in every way. I decided to order the black, but wanted the buckle to be silver, so had to go with the smooth leather lining. NO COMPARISON! The smooth lining version not only doesn’t feel the same, it doesn’t fit the same. It seems smaller, no matter how I adjust the strap. That smooth leather footbed has nowhere near the comfort and the secure feeling of the suede. I only tried them out in my house, so they are on the way back. Guess I will have to sport that gaudy gold buckle if I want the black, but probably not. Unfortunately, that is a game changer for me.

Comfortable but only good for walking very short distances. The buckles caused large bruises on the top of my feet.

There was a gap even when on the last buckle hole—and this was my usual 39 narrow. The material was stiff—it pays to get real leather instead of patent leather so these are going back.

Received broken, scuffed sandals. So disappointed. I was really looking forward to wearing these this weekend. Instead they are being sent back. Very cute though.

For me these did not seem secure on my foot when I walked. I prefer the multi-strap / multi-adjustment styles. Liked the look - just not the feel

Not my first pair of BIrks, I always wear the same size and they have a little wiggle room. Not these, they are narrow through the toe box and short in length as well. My toes were practically hanging off the front of the shoe. Super disappointed since I really loved the style and knew I would get a lot of wear had they fit properly. OOwell.

The fit was a little big in width. Style looks great and the leather material smooth.

Very nice but not holding well

I love this shoe but didn’t realize that the footbed was leather. The color transferred to my feet (black) and the shoes are not very comfortable. I am wearing them around the house to see if they will become more comfortable. Slipped on my other Madrid’s and could feel the difference. Love the style and will try and keep them.

These fit just like all my other Birkenstock purchases over the years. But I did return due to soles being smooth leather? My feet seemed to slip when I walked in them. I much prefer the suede/leather soles.
