I am so glad that I read the reviews and went with the narrow because I definitely don’t have a narrow foot and these fit perfectly. I had ordered a regular width and it was far too wide and “sloppy.” These are such a comfortable classic, you won’t be sorry you ordered them.

Fifteen years ago, I bought my first pair of these shoes. A few weeks ago I decided it was time for a new pair. I still have, and wear, my first pair, but once, one of our dogs chewed one of the straps and I panicked just a bit. However, we have a wonderful cobbler here and he repaired it almost to its original condition. That was a few months ago. It was then I started thinking about ordering another pair, "just in case." I have them now, and they are as comfortable and reliable as my first pair. I have strangely- shaped feet: long, narrow, hammer toes, unusually high arch, no fat on the bottoms. These Birkenstocks are truly the only ones that fit my feet and cause no problems. That said, because of the shape of my feet, it's my excuse for not wearing heels for years. I even wore my pair of black Birks. to one of our son's wedding two years ago, while dressed in palazzo-like pants and an "appropriate" top, and no one even raised an eyebrow. At least none that I saw. I was most comfortable.

Are you really buying Birkenstock’s for style? Ha, I’m kidding. It’s really about the comfort to me and those sandals are the most comfortable sandals money can buy. Just be patient to break them in a bit, the soft footbed helps, but still takes a few weeks until they mold to your foot. Enjoy!

The buckles are a copper color, it adds a nice touch to the taupe suede shoes.

This is the great Birkenstock sandal with arch support and comfort as it conforms to the foot. Unless you have an wide/wide foot, women should order the narrow. I wear a size 41 Narrow, which is just right and I definitely don't have a narrow foot ... the regular would have been much too wide. This is the perfect sandal for me for another reason; thanks to the arch support, it stops my overpronation in my right foot. and the grey is a great color for just about any occasion ... with skirt, dress, leggings, slacks or jeans.

I ordered down a size and in the narrow option; with these two adjustments, I got my exact size (normally not a narrow). Very stylish, especially with the rose gold metal clasps. This color (taupe) also matches with virtually anything, and in the soft footbed option, there is only a minimal "breaking in" period.

I absolutely love these shoes. I was hesitant to buy them since they are obviously pricey but I really needed a nice pair of sandals with arch support. I can say they were 100% worth the money. I did have to exchange them though because I listened to some reviews and sized down. I should have gone with my normal size according to the size chart. At least the exchange was quick and hassle free! (thanks Zappos!) Definitely get the narrow fit though unless you have extremely wide feet. Also I saw a lot of reviews that said that they didn’t need to be broken in and I got really nervous when I got them because they weren’t that comfortable. They feel great after a few days of wear! If you’re on the fence about these shoes, do it.

The suede Arizona with the soft footbed can’t get any more comfortable. I had them in oiled leather and a regular footbed and they weren’t as comfortable as these! Love my new Birkis!

This is my first endeavor into the world of Birkenstock sandals. I wasn't sure really what to expect. I tried them on and was pleasantly surprised about the fit. I have 3E feet and the regular fit great. The straps were even in the middle of adjustability. The arch is very prominent. What I didn't realize is how hard and uncomfortable they were when the are first put on. I did a Google search and found there is a whole break-in process which I am going through now. Overall, pretty happy with the sandal.

If you have plantar fasciitis you need these shoes! I've worn them for years and the soft footbeds are the best!

Super comfortable; I've barely taken them off since I got them ~ lots of compliments as well (they're cute, not frumpy!)

I ordered a size 40 and it fit well. I am normally a 9 1/2 with a wider medium forefoot. The straps allowed me to adjust the width. I bought this sandal for the arch support not the style. Provides the arch support I was looking for.

I love these Birkenstocks with soft footbed . They are so comfortable, keep their shape, and fit true to size. I wear a size 5 and the 35 fits perfect.

This company is beyond excellent in every department. I tried to give business o a Greeley store and they couldn't even call me back. Then I looked on Amazon and E bay but was not happy with either places. I ran in this site while searching and I couldn't ask for better customer care or service. My shoes arrived the next day one pair and the second pair arrived the day after. I am amazed with their service as so many company's now days could care less. BB

I reviewed these once, but received a request to do another review, over and over, so once again. I have liked Arizona Birks for 40 years. Stopped wearing them for about ten and tried again with this pair. This particular pair is a bit cockeyed. The left shoe has a top part that is as it should be, rounded but going upward to meet the inside edge. The top of the left shoe is longer and more slanted than round. They look a bit odd when I am wearing them, but I don't actually think many people are paying attention as I did. They are comfortable and I like that I have to work my toes without thinking when walking. It is good for my feet. Hope this is the last review for this pair of shoes I need to submit.

If you like Birkenstock you’ll really like these!! The soft bed footbed makes it feel like you are wearing a pair that has already been broken in. No stiffness.

As always, Birkenstock makes a great shoe. I’m very happy with this purchase and will be wearing these sandals all summer!

These are the most comfortable sandals; I bought this color because it goes with different clothes I have.

I wore Birks for 30-40 year when living in San Francisco, when I was younger. Moved to Bend, OR and I'm older so I stopped wearing Birks and got loafers and other sandals. Had spine surgery about a year ago. That changed by walking and balance. I had been having a lot of pain in my foot for various reasons and with the balance issues, I decided to try Arizona Birks again. You need to do something with your toes when you walk in them, which was always good exercise for my calves, but now that action helps my foot pain considerably and amazingly. I have loved these shoes for comfort for years and years and years. Now for comfort and health.

I’m a long-time fan of Birkenstocks and the Arizona soft bed, suede straps are the most comfortable of all. However, I have a narrow feet and definitely prefer the look of the Sydney on my feet. Sadly returning them.
