I’m usually a size 8 and it fit perfectly!!

Love them except it seems a half size bigger but I think that’s just the brand.

We received exactly what we wanted. These were for my daugther, and she loves them! I had to deal with Customer Service about a billing issue (on my end, not Zappos), and I have to say their customer service was top notch. They were so nice and super helpful! We will definietly order more from Zappos in the future!

I first ordered my regular size 7-71/2 size (38) and was excited to get them. However, after reading many reviews, I contacted Zappos and told them I’m worried the 38’s would be too big and wanted to see if I could order a smaller size. Keep in mind my order had already been shipped. Instead of making me wait until I received the order, then turn around and send them back before shipping out the new pair; Zappos did the return right on the spot, sent out the new pair, emailed me a return label for the pair I was returning AND I received the new pair BEFORE the first pair were delivered! I ordered the new pair in a 37 NARROW, and they fit perfect!! So if you are a true size 7 and depending on the shoe, can sometimes wear 7 1/2, I would highly recommend going down a size in these! I don’t have narrow feet no are they wide but the 37 Narrow fit like a glove! ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM! ??

So comfortable! I love these shoes with and without socks. They have great base support for people who need a sturdy bottom of the shoe.

I am size 9, bought the 39 unisex, narrow. Fits perfect

This is my second pair of these sandals and I love them.

These were too big, I'm a size five normally and a 35, so I was already worried when I saw 35 EU was 4.5 US, so I bought the 4.5 and it was still too large.

I usually wear a 9.5 Wide but tried these shoes on in a store and knew the Birkenstock 40 Narrow would fit me. I suggest the "narrow" width even for those with wide feet because the shoe is more like most shoes in appearance as opposed to the regular width that flares out like ducks' feet. The straps have buckles that allow you to adjust the width. The 40 allows my feet to fit inside the "soft footbed," which is really not very soft, more like cork. It is important to up-size if you are a half-size like me because these shoes have hard edges around the outside that you do not want your feet to sit upon. The suede was mentioned in other reviews saying that the suede breaks in faster than leather and I picked the tan because it wouldn't draw attention to my feet. Why I bought Birkenstock was because I had trouble with plantar fascitis a year ago and my foot doctor suggested Birkenstock and other shoes that do not bend because they are more supportive. I wear them around the house.

First pair of Birkenstock’s and I bloody love them!

I hadn’t bought a pair of Birkenstocks in 20 years, but they fit just like I remembered. This was my first pair of soft beds, and they didn’t feel much different than the traditional footbed to me. I’ve worn them every day since they arrived, and they’ve greatly improved my plantar fasciitis.

Love these taupe suede Arizona Birks so much! And the narrow width is perfect for me. So happy!

If you are confused about sizes / widths, remember this Arizona Bork is UNISEX. I am a size 8 in pretty much any brand but in Birkenstock’s, I always go a size down and get a 38 (which says 7-7.5). The narrow width is meant for women since again the shoe is unisex (regular is meant for men or women with wider feet). This is my second pair of Birks, I also have the Mayari and this Arizona soft footbed is amazing and so comfy!

I had not realized that in the past I had been wearing a narrow version of Birkenstock Arizonas. The Regular width soft footbed fits my foot like a glove and I enjoy walking with them. Great support!

Love the fit and style

I love my Birkenstocks but the rating selections available were limited. I had surgery on one foot, a screw in my big toe and a callus on the ball of one foot, with all of these issues these shoes are still VERY comfortable; however, if you do not have a pronounced arch, a very high arch, these shoes might not be for you. I can adjust my foot to circumvention the arch discomfort. I have an arch but not a very high arch and due to an unsuccessful foot surgery I have no arch on that foot with issues. Overall, they are comfortable (the reason I assigned an excellent arch support rating) but "not" completely for me due to the lack of an arch. I wear daily with hopes of breaking down the arch. No luck yet. I've had them just under a month.

As a first time Birkenstock owner, I was mostly concerned with selecting the correct size and walking around on two wooden slabs (back in the day at the Dead shows, I recall my friends Birkies as quite hard). I wear medium width, men's 10.5, and I ordered a regular 43. While I'm on the last hole in one strap and the second to last in the other, when you read that these run true to size, you can believe it. As for comfort, after walking around for about an hour or so, I felt like I was born in them. The suede leather is very supple, and the footbed is soft and comfortable. I chose the velvet gray, and I'm very happy with how they look. Zappos also shipped very quickly. All around good stuff.

Fits like a Birkenstock - a little sloppy and the footbed isn’t as comfortable as a mephisto. The suede tops are very soft and floppy and take a minute to get your toes under.

I have a wide flat foot these fit my feet perfectly! If you have a wide foot this is the shoes for you! If you have a narrow foot get the narrow size. The shoe is so soft very comfortable!
