Got these for my husband and he loves them! He is a 10.5 so he felt like he was in between 42 and 43. He kept the 43 for a better fit.

SO they’re not the cutest sandals. They are super comfy. I’m liking the suede upper. Fit like all birks. 39=81/2 like a charm

Fit and size were perfect. The ultimate and comfort. Conformed to my feet within a couple of days.

Comfortable right out of the box, expected no less. Have worn Birks for more than 20 years & these don’t disappoint. FYI: I won’t buy oiled leather versions as they are too difficult to break in. Suede is the way to go for me.

After painstakingly reading the reviews I blindly ordered a pair of Birkenstock’s... I went with the size I typically wear. I’ve had my feet measured at the place I buy my running shows. I’m a 7.5. The size 38 Birkenstock’s were too big! Thankfully Zappos has an incredible return policy. I returned (a different style) and ordered the Arizona in a 37. According to the Birkenstock website a 37 is a size 6-6.5. Well, they fit PERFECTLY. I also have high arches and plantar fasciitis. I hope this helps someone who is getting their first pair.

I tried 3-4 different pairs of sandals before deciding to stick with my usual - regular, soft foot bed Birkenstocks. I have wide feet and really do need the regular as opposed to narrow. These are comfy - virtually no break in time, but I’m used to these shoes. I like the black suede with black buckles - they look more sophisticated and understated compared to the big buckle versions.

My third pair of Birkenstocks. They are the most comfortable sandal and the suede is luxuriously soft. Well worth the money.

Haven't had a lot of time to wear them yet, but love how they fit and look. My all time favorite Berkies are the suede ones with shearling. I wear those year round and they are super comfortable (just have to wear socks when the fuzz starts to fade in places). These remind me of those. The super supple suede straps and the soft footbed. My other Birkenstocks tend to rub my one toe after a long walk, but the suede seems to be much more rubbing friendly. The color is even more nice in person.

My third pair of Birkenstocks. These are the most comfortable sandals I own, I live in Florida, so these are an every day shoe. They are well made and last practically forever. Well worth the price.

I bought my latest pair from a local retailer, but came on here to look for another color and noticed so many reviews stating how big the sandal runs. I always need advice with sizing if I order online so here’s my opinion. I’ve been wearing Birkenstocks for almost 25 years. They are supposed to be roomy. If they “fit like a glove”, they might be too small. Your heel is supposed to fit in the cup and you should have at least 1/4” extra length at the toe when standing. This is a proper fit. If your toes touch the top of the sandal (where the lip is), they are too small. Perhaps it’s the width that makes it seem like the sandal runs large (regular width is quite wide - narrow is an average width so choose narrow if you have a medium width foot). For reference, I am a solid size 9M in women’s shoes and I wear a 40N which is exactly what is says in my Arizona suede - size 40, L-9, M-7. So for me, I find them absolutely true to size for how I wear them.

I love these soft sole sandals. They're incredibly comfortable. I take exception to the reviewer (a man, no less) who suggested that the regular width sandals is only for really fat feet. The regular width Birkenstock is average width for men, and I prefer it over the narrow width, too. I am a woman with average-width feet. But I've avoided a lot of typical ladies' foot issues by wearing high quality well-fitting shoes. The footbed should cradle the foot, not squeeze it in. If the suede straps stretch with wear, just poke one more hole in them. It's easy. And it's better to have the footbed fit properly and adjust the straps accordingly. It's also better to leave factual reviews than rude ones.

Can’t beat the classic birks.

Prefer this over Birkenstock’s hard leather. This is soft and comfortable from the start. Latte is a great neutral color

I absolutely love the feel of this shoe. The leather is soft and the foot bed is as well. I have plantar fasciitis and Birkenstock shoes are the ONLY shoe that I can wear without any pain at all! This shoe is great because I can wear them with literally anything and they are stylish. The color is light so they match with any color outfit. My foot is a bit wider so this is a great option for me but the buckles do adjust for a perfect fit.

Purchased gray size 11-11.5 for a Fathers Day gift for hubs, he loves em. Fit great, comfortable[as the Arizona's soft foot bed claims] . If you haven't tried Birkies , you are missing out! Molds to foot, great for posture, style/comfort superior. Will last years.

I wear a 9 1/2 narrow and my few current Birkenstocks are size 40. I decided to try a size 41 because my heel was right to the end in them and the 40’s fit much better. I tried maybe 4 different styles and decided the best fit for comfort was the Arizona. Happy I found a good fit.

My last pair of Birkenstocks lasted over 25 years. This new pair has to same good fit and feel.

I love berkies! I am never the size they say for US sizing (9). UK sizing I am a 39, which I believe is a whole size smaller. I accidentally ordered 38 in this and was debating on exchanging them but decided they fit good for a sandal. Clogs I would wear my usual size 39. The foot bed is amazing soft and comfortable. I have been ordering more berkies due to what I believe is planter Fasciatis, and helps with arch support. Highly recommend berkies of any sort.
