This style is appropriate for casual or dress. I have a wide foot and the medium fits perfectly. I have had 4 pairs of this style over the years and they wear very well. Extremely comfortable.

I have always been beyond satisfied with Birkenstocks, having worn the Florida and Gizeh styles for years before purchasing these Mayaris. I have literally walked holes in them in the past with no compromise in comfort or support—I’m talking five and ten miles daily, no issues. These are my summer alternative to sneakers. I do consistently find that on my first longer-distance or full-day wear I get hot spots where the leather hits my instep and right behind the ball of my foot, but a little preventive bandaid application makes that a minimal discomfort. I also love that this style is a little more minimal than some of the other Birk models but still slip-on and sturdy. I’m small-framed, so it’s nice not to feel like I’m wearing paddles on my feet :)

Love everything about them except that the strap between the toes is stiff and uncomfortable. I'm guessing they'd soften up, but I just won't buy things any more that aren't totally comfortable. It's a shame, because the rest of the sandal is great -- nice and wide, and I love that the straps are adjustable. But... they're going back.

I love these shoes but I found that the narrow ones I had to go a size up. Normally I wear size 40. The narrow ones look better on my feet. These are my favorite sandal. They have great arch support. I wear them everyday even in the winter(inside my house). I usually buy the brown ones but tried black this time. Love this color too.

I hadn’t bought Birkenstocks in years, and I’m so glad I came back to them! Comfortable and not too old ladyish. I was unsure about the birko-flor material, but so far I have been pleased with it. Has a break in period similar to leather and cleans easily with a damp cloth. I only wish there were more styles offered in the narrow width. Very happy with my purchase!

Love them! Black goes with everything so I have woren them everyday since they arrived. They arrived very quickly too! Very pleased overall

I've been living in these since they arrived last week. So much support and they look great with everything from jeans, to casual skirts and I've even worn them to work at my office.

I was looking for a dressier "birkenstock" and ordered these in black. I was nervous b/c the company has been making narrower versions of their shoes and I have wide feet. In fact I had just returned a different style of birks b/c I couldn't get my foot past a fixed strap. These fit perfectly!!! The toe strap is adjustable and I wore these less than a day and surprisingly they were broken in. They look classic whether with a dress or jeans. I will probably order more colors in this style. Would highly recommend.

These are my first pair of Birkenstock. It took a few wears for my feet to adjust to them but now I really enjoy wearing them. My go to casual summer shoe

These are my first pair of Berkinstocks! I love them. So comfortable. My color was lighter then what is in the picture and I may put some oil on them to darken them up a bit. But I am 100% happy with my purchase.

Love these sandals! They definitely take some time to break in but the arch support is great for someone with chronically flat feet who needs a supportive sandal.

I love these sandals. I have swelling in left ankle/foot and these sandals adjust to fit and are very comfortable.

I love these sandals. I have the silver Bioko-flo and loved them so much that I ordered the black. They are very comfortable, mold to your foot and provide great arch support. The Mayari are really cute and I love that they come in narrow since Birkenstocks can be a little wide for my foot.

I've only worn these a few times -- once for a 2 mile walk -- and so far, they're fabulous. I originally ordered a size 38 (I'm normally a US size 7.5), but they were enormous on me. So I exchanged them for a size 37 and they are just perfect. I got them in Mocha color and they're exactly what I wanted -- sort of a greyish brown; they go with everything. I haven't had any rubbing, irritation or any other comfort issue thus far. But, I can't wait til they're broken in and fit my feet even better. This is my first pair of Birks in probably 20 years and I'm so glad the quality is exactly as I remember them. If all continues to work out, I will likely be purchasing another pair for myself and my hubby.

Love that bite sticks are back in trend. I love the sizing is pretty consistent. I have the Arizona, gizeh, and now added these. As long as my foot doesn’t change I swear they last forever. Had a pair for 10 yrs before my size changed. My foot feels supported and comfortable. Can’t say enough.

Ok, so I am going to be so open and HONEST here...... I love these shoes... I mean really love them... How i came to purchase a pair, I was out shopping before a trip, MY FEET hurt so bad on this day. I had no choice, NONE so I stopped by my favorite family owned shoe boutique, i looked at every cute little fancy, beaded scandal in stock and every last pair hurt worse than the first. I was FINALLY talked into trying these....let me tell I put up fight... I THOUGHT these were the most horrible pair of shoes EVER. The moment i put them on my feet started to relax. Long story short that was 2 years ago, I hardly wear my cute little girly girly scandals any more. Once the leather softens which took me a day, I don't want anything else... I LOVE THEM, OH I HAVE the silver pair, matches everything with a lot class. I am purchasing my second pair in Ivory...... i went directly to the Birkenstock Website and they are solddddddddddddddddd OUT in my size.....Zappos never fails...

I love Birkenstocks and I owe several pairs!!! Love love love the color of these too!
