They were very comfortable for me (I have feet with an average arch) right off the bat. If, like me, your toes are a little wide, I would recommend the regular width rather than narrow.

Love these sandals. At first the wrap around big toe felt a little tight, but after wearing a few days, they feel great. I got the white irresdescent and they look great!

This is my second pair of Mayari sandals, I have a pair in the golden brown color and wear them daily. I have narrow feet and the Mayari style in narrow fits perfectly. I was so happy to finally have found this style in black with a narrow width.

Absolutely love these shoes! I wore them all summer long and with a little help from Birkenstock maintenance products they are still in excellent shape. The color and style are a great addition to the quality you expect from such a great brand!

I've wanted Birkenstocks for several years and am highly impressed with these! I've tried on different styles at stores and was unsure, but I love this style and haven't had any issues. I'm typically an 8, but these do feel a bit larger than a normal 8. They felt a bit loose, so I tightened the straps to the smallest hole. Again, this is my first pair, so it may be normal or just me. I've worn for long days out and my feet don't hurt, at all.Very impressed with this style and would highly recommend.

I'm a late comer to the Birkenstock fan train, but I'm on board now! These sandals are incredibly comfortable right out of the box, and just get better with every wear. I can walk for miles in them. I normally wear a 6.5M and these fit perfectly in the 37N. Unlike many Birks I've seen, the narrow footbed makes my feet sit just right - so often I see Birks that look too big and wide and kind of sloppy. These are not, they are trim around the foot. Highly recommend.

A great sandal! I generally hate anything that fits between my toes, but these are unbelievably comfortable. I walked all over Italy with them and my feet felt wonderful. The arch support is great -- I wear orthotics for flat feet so finding a pair of sandals I can wear alone is difficult at best. These fit great and provide much-needed support for my feet.

Great for wide feet. Strong sandals that lasted me longer than typical sandals. They are certainly an investment piece that can be worn with anything.

I bought these in silver and they're super cute. I did notice that some reviewers felt this particular style of Birkenstock runs wide so when Zappos was out of normal width I tried the narrow. They were definitely too narrow for me and had to be returned. So if you're a Birkenstock wearer and you typically take a normal width, in my experience this style is no exception - buy your normal size/width!

These shoes are excellent. I always wear a 7-7.5 but needed the 37 (6-6.5) in these shoes (and all Birks it seems). For me, they were comfortable from day one without any breaking in. They match a lot of things. The shade of brown is really pretty and not dull. I have osteoarthritis in my left ankle and a lot of shoes don’t offer enough support but after a long day in these I still feel pretty darn good! These are stylish, timeless, comfortable, durable, and well worth the price!

Love these Birkenstocks!! Based off other reviews and recommendations from friends, I went a full size smaller than my regular US shoe size and they fit perfect! I am having a bit of a break in period and my feet are still adjusting. They feel comfortable for long periods of time, but feel a little uncomfortable when I first put them on. I’m guessing that’s all part of breaking them in.

I've been wanting to have a Birkenstock my entire life. I just find it hard to spend $100 on a pair of sandals but I'm glad I finally did. I normally spend at least $200 on shoes because I have sensitive fit. It needs to be comfortable and fits perfectly on my narrow feet. I've been eyeing on the two straps but there's no narrow size available. I ended up getting Mayari. My size is between 7 and 7.5, size 38 fits perfectly. It hurts my toe on the first use but was very comfortable the second time. The adjustable straps help my feet get secured. This is my issue with Nike slides, I have thin feet and I cant feel the top of the strap. I bought the brown color but I hope the white gets available soon.

First time wearing this style Birks - have always worn the t-strap style. They are very comfortable, a little boxier looking than the other style I have worn. The color had a copper hue to it - I liked it. I will definitely purchase this style of sandal again. I can walk all day in Birks and never have any discomfort. They may not be the cutest shoes but they are the most comfortable. I wear a size 7 and always buy a size 37 in these shoes.

I love birkenstocks and these are great. I ordered my usual 40 but for some reason there is a little bit of extra length, not enough where I would size down but they are slightly larger than my other pair. Other than that I love them.

I have loved birkenstocks since I was very young so I was very excited to get another pair the only thing is for didn’t styles I have different sizes for like style I am a 38 but for the two strap I am a 39

The only time I take off my Mayaris is when I go to bed. I've been suffering with plantar fasciitis the last few weeks, and these shoes truly fit like a glove. I don't want to take them off. I'm not sure what I"ll do when it snows, but I am thrilled with these Birkenstocks. SO comfortable!

I love these sandals! I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes don’t hurt my feet. I will say that the black oiled leather is leaving some black marks on my feet, but it comes off and doesn’t bother me. I usually wear 9.5 in shoes and had to buy a 8/8.5 in these.

My favorite pair of sandals until my dog decided to devour one of them. I am purchasing a new pair. Guess you could say they are so good that my dog even likes them.
