I put off getting my first pair of Birkenstocks for a long time, and now I regret that I waited so long! There's a short break-in period, but even then they were so comfortable- right up until it started snowing I was wearing them all day, every day, for miles at a time. They're cute, comfortable, and long-lasting, and have quickly become indispensable.

The Birkenstock mayari are so cute. I wore them all summer. I feel like they are a dressier version of birks that I could wear with sundresses etc. and not seem as bulky as the Arizona style. After reading some of the reviews, I did wear them for short times every day to “break” them in, which worked for me. I ordered according to the size chart after chatting with a rep - other reviews indicated ordering otherwise. The chart size fits me perfect. Great buy.

I have flat feet and cannot wear most sandals for any length of time without sore legs and ankles. Birkenstocks are life savers for me. Literally put almost 20,000 steps on my pedometer during one day walking around NYC for a girls trip and felt great!

I go back and forth between a 7.5 & 8, depending on the shoe. The 38 fit perfectly and I LOVE them! I got the arctic whie and they are super cute and & go with everything!!

Take the time to figure out your Birk size - it makes all the difference in the world. Found this out when I wore a pair that were a half size too large for a whole summer, wondering why everyone loves these so much. Ordered the correct size with these and they are perfect right out of the box. Ordered a pair in silver too - love them!!

Perfect fit and very comfortable, but wide straps and buckles are too sporty for the more dressy look I need.

I ordered these for a 10 day trip to Vietnam. I have never owned a pair of flats or sandals that don't cause my plantar fasciitis to flare up after a lot of walking. I walked a lot over the trip and my feet were comfortable the entire time, great arch support. They are a little clunkier then I'm used to but they are so comfortable I don't even care! I'm a nurse so now I'm even thinking of *cringe* actually trying out some of their hideous clogs lol.

Soooooo comfortable and easy to walk in. They are better looking than the classic Birkenstock style, but they are not stylish.

I’m a late-adopter, but now all-in on the Birkenstock lifestyle! These are everything you’ve ever heard and more. I almost look forward to warmer weather so I can get these back in the rotation. The breaking in period wasn’t uncomfortable and these birks felt comfortable all day every day. I’m a 7.5-8, slightly wider toe box, and the 38s are perfect.

Mayari is a great fit for me. I have issues with one foot but can wear these all day without pain. This is my second pair. After 2 1/2 years of almost continuous wear the toe strap broke on my left shoe. I removed the broken strap and the toe strap on right shoe and continue to wear them! Use your imagination folks :))

Sole is very supportive for high arches and plantar fasciitis. The break in process took about 3 days of wearing them around the house for the blackfloral, and was quicker with the tan color for whatever reason. Straps stretch a bit, but you can easily punch a hole in the material if you run out. I wear these everyday in the summer, and on +45 min daily dog walks. They totally beat every brand that claims to be supportive for high arches, including my custom orthotic insoles . Have purchased 2 pairs and will continue to buy more when they wear out.

Love this shoe. It is my second mayari. The first one was an emergency purchase due to a sudden onset of platar. As I wore them they developed depressions in the footbed perfectly cradling my heel and instep. It's a pleasure to wear and looks pretty good too.

These were purchased for my daughter. She has had them a couple of years and they still look great even after being worn so much. She loves the shiny black that goes with every summer outfit. These Birkenstocks do not disappoint a family of longtime Birkenstotck owners.

Bought these for my mother and she loved them. They're super cute and I would order some for myself, but sadly they don't make the size I need. If they did, I'd order it in a few colors! They have the traditional Birkenstock foot bed that I enjoy in my other styles.

I bought this exact same sandal 2 years ago- wore them practically every day- walked for miles amd miles. Love the fit, the color, the support. Thought I better have aback up pair!! I have a very narrow foot and it is hard to find narrow size 10 1/2 anywhere!1

I just received these and they fit wonderfully. I followed the other reviews that said to order a size down. I'm typically a 7.5-8 and went with the 7/EU 38.

Literally the best sandals money can buy! I've had pair after pair of Birkenstocks and they've all held up longer than any other brand of sandals I've owned. These fit true to size, and I appreciate the arch support. They're comfortable as well - I wear these all day long all summer long, and I've never had any discomfort.

I was on the fence about getting these but am so glad I did. I LOVE my Birks (my first pair ever) and wish the weather here in Seattle allowed me to wear them year-round. I'm in my early-30's, have low arches, and relatively flat feet, and have been suffering from foot pain for a while now. I recently went on a 2-week trip to Europe and knew I would have to walk a lot and was worried how my feet would fair, and decided to purchase these Birks a couple weeks before to try them around the house. They felt pretty good and did take an hour to get used to (the sole is on the stiffer side and arch feels high), but I got used to them in no time. I also have wider feet and was so happy these accommodated that. I ended up taking them to Europe and walking over 50 miles in them, and my feet loved me for it. I brought sneakers with insoles, and even those hurt my feet, but when I wore my Birks, I could walk miles and stay pain free!

I got these sandals to travel to Hawaii after I got my ankle sprained. I absolutely love them! I can walk all day and no problem at all, plus they look really cute with every dress

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks. It took me a little while they used to them, but once I did I love them. I look forward to adding another pair to my collection soon.
