I bought them the beginning of June yesterday I’m walking through Walmart and the leather came out of the sole. This is the ONLY issue I’ve ever had with Zappos. I have no box no label and I’m out $135 just super disappointing. I called and the customer service rep said I’d have to have the box. With all the shoes I buy from Zappos they should stand behind the product

This is the third pair of silver Birkenstock Mayari I have owned in recent years. Have foot problems, and I live in Birkenstocks yr. round and wear them out. I love the silver as they are a matte silver and are very neutral. The Mayari style is my favorite fit of all the Birkenstock sandals. I wear a 39N and it is frustrating that Birkenstock does not make more colors in the Narrow fit. This size gets out of stock often as it is a common size. 8/8.5 women's American shoe size. They run a bit wide in general, I need Narrow, especially for my heel. I would order more Mayari style sandals if I could find other colors in my size. I also wear Gizeh style Birkenstock sandals, and same thing, not many of the colors come in the Narrow sizing. If considering these silver Mayari, you cannot go wrong. If you are new to Birkenstock shoes, it does take a week or two of breaking them in to mold to your feet, then they are so comfy. I have multiple Birkenstock sandals and my feet feel best if I rotate wearing a couple different pair a day or switch days with different styles. Plantar fasciatus, arthritis, no arch, etc.

I've been want to purchase a Birkenstock sandal for a while now and what better time than for summer! Looked into different styles and settled on the Mayari in black oiled leather. I read some reviews on the style and many complained about the toe loop breaking after minimal use but I really liked the look of the Mayari so I purchased a pair. When I received them in the mail I was really looking forward to wearing them but when I took them out of the box the toe loop on the right sandal was already broken. I returned them the next day.

I was not sent the item I ordered.

The shoe was very nice but I had at least two inches behind my heel in a size 5 shoe. I am going to return them and hope to find a smaller size as it is already hard to find size 5's. They seem to run very big and wider than usual. I truly can't rate them on question one as I wasn't able to wear them to see how comfortable they are.

I was so full of hope that these would work for me because I have difficult feet. I have a rather large bunion on my left foot and flat arches. My boyfriend adores his Birkenstocks and based on the reviews of other people with bunions, I thought these might be the sandal I’ve been looking for! Nope. Very uncomfortable and the strap right across my bunion was painful. It’s possible that the leather would stretch eventually but I don’t want to take a chance since these aren’t cheap. Sadly, I’m returning.

I love this style but for some reason, I could not break in the left one. I have owned three pair and I have worn these around the house only, but can not make it comfortable. I don't understand it. It's my size and typically the footbed is soooo comfortable. I have reordered and hope that pair works out like the previous ones. I adore the comfort and if you have plantar facsitis this is the show for you. And if your feet are narrow, the narrows are a charm.

I have loved these shoes....wore my first pair for years....until the top strap broke. Ordered a new pair - this pair lasted one year two months....toe strap broken in exact same place. So not worth the money! I expected them to last longer with the Birk name!!!

Regular width is not the regular width of yesteryear. I put the new ones sole to sole with my old ones and there’s at least 1/2 inch difference. I’m sure this is a cost cutting measure kind of like the way toilet paper rolls have gotten shorter. I’m am very disappointed and honestly kind of mad. I read somewhere that the unisex ones were wider. I guess people with wider feet don’t get cute shoes we get “unisex” because it’s always been my dream to dress like a man. Birkenstock are you listening? Might be time for me to branch out to another brand ?? sigh

The straps between the toes rubs the underside of my toes.I had to return these shoes.

Love this sandal. Have in multiple colors. Hold up well for everyday use.

These would get 5 stars and I would have been deliriously happy but they are HUGE. Absolutely stupidly HUGE. These are supposed to be a size 4 ladies. They are much closer to a size 6 ladies. They would have been PERFECT and I'm at a loss as to why Birkenstocks insists on making gunboats instead of shoes, or at least sizing them correctly. These are a 35 Euro which should be a perfect fit. Ha. Zappos - why not resize these so they are conform roughly to reality?

Terrible. I can't return them because they've been worn. It's my sixth pair of birks and I'm not sure if I'll ever get them again. The right one is so narrow the outside of my foot is in severe pain after a short time and the left one hurts the inside of my foot. I've never had any issues in the past. I don't know what's wrong with this pair. Since I have gotten birks before I just adjusted the straps and wore them out. I'm so bummed out very disappointing and such a waste of that much money.

Very very disappointed. After less than 4 months or wear the sole is cracking. I've had $10 shoes last longer. Complete waste of money.

I wanted to like these so bad but unfortunately they were not comfortable. The high arch / bump in the middle of the shoe was painful. I don't know how anyone can tolerate it. I loved the style but was also not impressed with the comfort of the foot bed. It was very stiff. I ended up trying out another brand called MEPHISTO and I love those! Very comfortable foot bed that is made up o f a cork bed but with a memory foam type of material on the top. Very comfortable right out of the box. I really dont understand how these shoes got such good reviews. They were not comfortable for me at ALL! OUCH!

I don't know if Zappos is purchasing items from vendors that are irregulars or vendors are providing them to Zappos without them knowing. But lately the shoes I have been receiving have flaws with the design. Most recently, the Birkenstock Mayari's I purchased the left shoe's loop for your toe was much larger than the right toe. Paying $125 for the shoe this should not occur. These were being purchased for a vacation trip, and sadly enough I was not able to take them on vacation. Either Birkenstock is to blame or Zappos for selling them to their customers.

Because I have small feet (size 5-5.5) wearing the Mayari required going up to the 36. It says that the 36 is equivalent to 5-5.5, but the shoe is much larger than that. Unfortunately, this sandal does not come in a 35, which would be perfect. It would be awesome if Birkenstock made the mayari either in a 35, or in a kids' size (34) that would fit my feet.

These were so uncomfortable. Sent back.

I have owned over 10 birki's in my life. I did not like the footbed or the material on the top straps. And the fit was way off.

This "new" leather Burkinstoc Burkibuc and Burki Flor is total Bullcrap! While I'll admit I am hard on my sandles, I've never worn out a pair of Burks in 9 months. I live in Florida and have been wearing Burks since 1989. I would like Burkenstock to think about offering an new option and that is letting the customer pick not only the style and size but how about the material it is made of!! I cannot wear plastic on my feet and do not wish to wear bright floral shoes and if it costs more to get attractive Nubuck leather in a quiet stone colored leather than let the customer decide if they will pay for it!! I'm am seriously thinking about going to another brand.

Last summer, I wore these sandals for a couple of months. They were super comfy, but the cork was disintegrating and zappos kindly replaced them. This summer, I wore the replacement pair every day beginning in June. The sole and cork is completely worn down in several sections of each sandal, the largest strap one sandal had come unglued from the side, and the toe strap fell out of the bottom of the shoe and I had to cut it out. I have worn them pretty much every day for a few months, but I am very disappointed in how quickly they fell apart. They are great to walk in, look cute, and make my feet feel good, but I'm surprised by the poor quality of the shoe. I don't know if Birkenstock has recently started manufacturing their sandals in a different way or something, they used to hold up better than this. Very disappointing for a $90 shoe to fall apart in so many ways.

I love these shoes and this is my third pair. Unfortunately, the cork on these cracked already. I have had them since April only and not worn them every day by a long shot. So, this is a big disappointment.

I think that you price them way to high for a pair of shoes. You shoes either give discounts or coupons because I will not pay for a pair of shoes that are 100$ for my child to where around school and then come home with blistards on her feet because they rubbed her feet when she walked. Your shoe is ridicualus. This is a brand I will not buy again from.
