Great shoe. It does emphasize the width of your foot due to the placement of the straps. Still, very feminine for a Birkenstock.

First of all these came the day after I ordered them. Can't drive to the store that quickly!I love them! They fit perfectly and look great. Comfortable and good for my legs as birks always are.

I had surgery to repair some old stress fractures in my toes several years ago and these are one of the few shoes that I can wear comfortably for any time at all. Just be aware that they come in both narrow and wide; I generally take a medium width but take the more narrow version in this shoe. I only wish they had a more dressy version.

I love this sandal! The straps lay in the right places to flatter ones foot, and it's uber comfortable. Its casual and dressy at the same time, what more could you ask for?!

Love these shoes! Have plantar fasciitis and they allowed me to walk around Disneyland all day without a single pain! True to size and look great dressed up or down.

Bought in silver in narrow. Arrived lightning fast. Put on my feet and can't force myself to take them off. My feet are in love. They look much cuter on than I was expecting. Very pleased! It finally got warm enough to be wearing these around! They are very comfortable - Birkenstocks have a good amount of arch support for me. The straps are snug but comfortable which makes for comfortable walking. Once in a while the strap between the toes digs a little, but it is very minor, and probably because my toes are too short. I got these in the onyx color, and I was a little surprised when I saw them. I thought the photo made them look more blue than they are. They are actually a silvery grey color which is very pretty. I am very pleased with these!

The day they arrived I packed them in my suitcase and left on vacation. Once I arrived at my destination, I went for a nice long walk! Great comfortable fit - no blisters or sore feet. I can only wear Birkenstocks as they have great arch support. These feel great on my feet.

These are comfortable, really well made shoes! The arch is very supportive. I have plantar fascia with one foot and the shoes seem to make it easier to be on my feet during the day. The style is a little funky but having a German background, I'm OK with that!

I'm in love with these shoes. Goal here was a dressy Birk and this is perfect. Amazing comfort and a great look. I get a ton of compliments every time I wear them too.

The narrow Birkies are fabulous. The Mayari style gives me such a good fit for my long, narrow foot with high arch, that they are my go everywhere shoes. I can wear them with fairly snug straps, and they are so comfortable and stable that I have replaced all of my expensive golf shoes. Look great with capris for the mall. The secret if the two adjustable straps.

My fourth pair of Birkenstocks! I have issues with my feet and need all the arch support that I can get when I don't wear close-toed shoes, and these are great and comfortable. I wear them to work where I stand all day and afterward I am not sore. Love these shoes!

My podiatrist recommended Birkenstocks to relieve the pain I had from plantar fascia, and they work! He suggested wearing them approximately 70% of the time. (I wear mine almost all of my waking hours.) I now have no heel or arch pain. The uppers are personal choice of course, but it's the sole bed with the great arch that does the work. Be sure to get a proper fit, then start by wearing them an hour or two a day for the first week or two. After that you won't want to wear any other shoe. The only difficulty for the sandals is cold weather.

After surgery on my ankle, I couldn't find any shoes that were comfortable for walking long distances (I live in NYC, so I walk at least a few miles each day). These have been the only shoes that are supportive and comfortable enough for me. When my ankle starts to hurt from other (non-supportive) shoes, I come back to these and it feels so much better. Now I'm looking for my next pair of Birkenstock's to last me into the fall.

This is actually the best Birkenstock product I've owned. I wear it constantly around my house. When I wake up in the morning, if I walk around barefoot I often get a disturbing sort of snapping sensation in the bottom of my arches, but I slip these on and voila, they're gone. Style-wise, they aren't quite as pretty and dainty as I was hoping for. Actually, the dainty strap makes the (kind of ugly) cork more prominent I think, so if you're hoping for a 'dressier' Birk, I don't think this will do it. But still cute enough for a casual outfit. I got the Onyx, and it's a beautiful blue-gray. Not drab and not too shiny (as I feel patent is) either. It's very pretty, but still neutral. Sizing: I wear a 40 in Boston Soft Clog and 39 in the Madrid sandal - this one fits in the 39 as well. Bottom line: Feels like heaven on the feet, even for Birkenstocks. Simply amazing.

Great purchase! I just had my hip replaced and I needed sturdy, supportive, and comfortable shoes. I prefer slip-on versus sneakers so I opted for these. I'm glad I did. I find them perfect for the reasons I just stated. Highly recommend.

Great sandal! The patent leather makes it a little more dressy than other Birkenstocks. I would recommend ordering a 1/2 size smaller. I had to send back my first pair b/c they were too big.

This is my fourth pair of this style! What else can I say, they're the best Birkis ever!

I've consistently worn Birkenstocks for over 30 years, and these are the most comfortable ones I have ever had. Too bad it will be getting cold here, and I will have to put them aside!
