Super comfortable...You will love this sandal.

I am a big fan of Birkenstocks and was wary of this style, because of the toe strap. I am on my feet all day at my job and was really pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these were. No blisters or rubbing. Size was true and they have great support. I also love shiny things!

I got these in May because I had developed plantar fascia and couldn't wear any shoes for more than an hour without excruciating pain. I gained weight and my high arches couldn't handle the extra pounds. After trying several insoles with no relief I decided I needed something with extra firm arch support that wouldn't collapse under my weight. After some research, I learned about Birkenstocks. Before now, I only associated Birkenstock with the deadheads from my college days. But was pleasantly surprised that they released more "feminine" styles since then. It is now October and after wearing these exclusively every single day since May, my plantar fascia has healed. These sandals are lifesavers, now I am able to wear other shoes again, just in time for boot weather. When I was younger I wore a size 7, as I got older and heavier, I can now only fit comfortably in a size 8.5. I got these in a 38 based on the reviews and was again pleasantly surprised by the fit, my only issue is they are a teeny tiny bit narrow.

Wore these nearly every day during the summer. My favorite pair of shoes by far.

I bought these Birkenstocks about six months ago, and I can’t go a day without them! I am not sure what I am going to do when I can’t wear them in the cold winter months. If you are looking for a new go-to shoe, this is the one for you! I was a little skeptical buying these because they were so expensive. I quickly found out that they were worth every penny and here’s why: Style: I love that the grey/green color of the leather straps goes well with my outfit regardless if I am wearing brown or black. They are very neutral in color and go with everything! I also like the trendy rose gold buckle. I chose this particular style because the strap over the toe and the rose gold make the sandal more feminine than the other Birkenstock styles. The adjustable leather straps make sure the shoes stay on and fit the way they are supposed to. If your Birkenstocks don’t fit correctly, it can be very uncomfortable to step on the “ledge” of the sandal. The leather straps stretch and loosen a little bit after they are broken in, so they might need tightened another notch, which is as easy as putting on a belt. Health Benefits: Birkenstocks are sandals that have very high arches and a lot of support compared to the average sandal. So, if you have flat feet and need to wear insoles in your shoes, this is the perfect sandal for you! After wearing the sandals for some time and they are broke in, the cork molds to your feet. So, it is important that you don’t share your sandals! Durability: Overall, the shoes are very durable. The cork that makes up the bottom part of the shoe has a protective coating around it that makes it waterproof and durable in any situation. Just by the nature of the cork of the shoe, the protective sealant may come off with lots of wear. In that case, you can buy an easy-to-use sealant that most Birkenstock retailers sell. The shoes do a good job in the rain, but since they are leather sandals, there is no way for them to be waterproof. I also noticed that when my feet got wet, the color stain of the leather on the bottom of the shoe also stained my feet. That is not a big deal to me.

So comfortable and arch support is amazing. Get compliments on these shoes all the time.

I love these sandals! At first, they were moderately comfortable, but after having worn them several times, they have broken in and are super comfortable now!

Great shoes with a little more feminine touch than the original birks. Wear them every day!

I'm so glad that I chose these sandals. No more cheap, uncomfortable sandals for me. These go with everything and I can wear them all day and not have any problems. Definitely recommend.

I am a size 9. Following the recommendation, I ordered the size 40. Wow! They were so much larger (in length) than expected! Sending them back and ordering a 39.

My favorite style of birks yet and I have several pairs. Love the secure feel of the toe strap.

I have a Morton"s neuroma and can only wear one kind of sandal in summer and one kind of shoe. The insole has to have a certain contour or I develop pain within 15 minutes and cannot walk without limping. I ordered a pair of "Berkies" (as they're affectionately called where I live) and was able to slip into them right out of the box and wear them all day long with no discomfort at all. I then ordered a pair of Mayaris and had equally wonderful results. I've been wearing both pairs all summer and couldn't be more pleased. The golden brown color is really nice, not gaudy or metallic looking and I've received several compliments about the style as well as the color. I suspect that these 2 pairs will last a very long time, but in the event they need to be replaced, I'll buy them again without hesitation.

These shoes are life changing if you deal with plantar fasciitis. I'm not looking forward to giving these up over the winter. I plan on getting a new pair every summer:)

This sandal is wonderful!! I thoroughly loved the style, color, and price! It's with heavy heart that I'm returning the sandal, not because of it but because my 64 year old feet and balance said I need something with a back strap! Zappos is currently out of that style in my size so I'll patiently wait for the new season inventory!

These sandals are amazing!! I tried so many pairs of Birkenstocks, and the Mayaris are by far the most comfortable and supportive for my feet. While the sandals took a few weeks to break in, the process was not painful. I especially love these sandals because unlike flip-flops and other Birkenstock models, they do not require you to forcibly lift the back of the sandal off of the ground while walking. I purchased the silver, and they are quite fashionable. I highly recommend the Mayaris!

I can't believe I waited this long to buy Birkenstocks. Now the goal is to have them in just about every color. I teach so I am on my feet all day long. Since wearing my Birks this is the first time my feet have not hurt at the end of the day and even working the extended day program. All I can say is Teacher Approved!!

I had to return my granddaughter's Mayari sandal because of a defect. I'm still giving Zappos a 5 star rating because not only are they sending out a new pair of sandals, but they gave me $50 on my account for me to buy a pair for myself! I have bought from Zappos many times, but this time they went above & beyond what I expected!

These are my favorite Birks that I own. My foot is probably a little narrower than the average foot and these don't look as wide on my foot as the double straps do. They are so comfy and stay on well with the strap around the toe. Better than my others do anyway. They hurt the first 2 times I wore them, but then they contoured to my foot shape and now they feel great! I typically wear anywhere from a 6.5-7.5 in shoes and my 37 are great.

These are my first pair of Birks (late to the party) and I am obsessed. I wear them all day every day. I have a high arch and bunions and these are so amazingly comfortable. I got the antique lace color (white) and get compliments on them all the time. I just cannot emphasize how comfortable and cute these shoes are. I am considering another pair because I love them so much!! I usually wear a size 10 and have a somewhat wide foot and the 41 fits perfectly.

I love these sandals! I thought they would look too wide, but I'm actually super happy with them. No complaints at all.

Like with most Birkenstock sandals, very comfortable right out of the box. No break-in time needed. I realized though after everyday use in the summer, the inside of the shoe started to peel off and discolor. Other than that no complaints.

I love these shoes! They're my favorite sandals for summer and they stay on your feet awesome. I wore them on a trip through europe while pregnant and my feet didn't hurt so bad with all the walking.

I was a little hesitant on purchasing these, but once I did they are now my favorite sandals!

Love love love these shoes, but I just got back from Dr. and he said they aren't good for Plantar F, he recommended Mephispo! So sending back and ordering other brand!
