This was my first time ordering with Zappos an I had an excellent experience! I was hesitant about ordering Birkenstocks, as I have always deemed them hippie style. I took a chance and ordered the Gizeh style because it looked a little more stylish. They came in very quickly and once I put them in I was in love. These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I am on my feet all day and they have excellent arch support and In have even noticed my back isn't hurting as much! I am definitely a fan and will be purchasing many more Berks in the future!

This is now the 4th pair of this shoe that I own. It's a fantastically comfortable sandal. The colors are great and the price was worth it!

This was my first pair of Gizehs, although I had owned Birkenstocks (Arizona, Madrid) before. The Birkenstock footbed has excellent arch support (perfect for plantar fasciitis sufferers like me), and molds to your foot over time. It took me a week or two to get used to the plastic piece between the toes, but once I did, I found them very comfortable. The Birko-Flor is a felt-backed vinyl that doesn't quite look or feel like leather, but is lightweight, comfortable, and more affordable than the leather. It does seem to pick up dust and lint easily, but nothing that a lint roller couldn't fix. I normally wear a 6.5 wide or 7 medium, and found that the 35 Regular fit my foot best. Relatively stylish for such a comfortable sandal! Highly recommend!

Blue Is adorable! If you don't know Birks, then order a full size smaller than you regularly wear. I'm a 39 or 40 and these fit perfectly in the 38-- absolutely couldn't have gone bigger. These are surprisingly sexy for comfort shoes and I think you can't go wrong. Again, if you are new to Birks, they don't have a raised heel cup like Mephisto and Naot, so I can't wear them quite as long as those other brands, but worth it for the sexy factor!

My fourth pair of Gizehs. This is my favorite style from Birkenstock and Papillio. Super comfortable and a little more fashionable than traditional Birkenstock styles. I hardly wear anything else in the summer. FYI, size 36 is perfect for my wide 6.5-7 foot and high arch.

Great comfort. The molded sole feels like a custom fit. I almost did not buy these since a customer review said the middle plastic piece was hard and uncomfortable. I did not find that to be so. I live in the desert so I wear these sandals quit a bit. I highly recommend them for comfort and style.

Was looking for a sandal that would give more support than your average flip flop and these are great! Can feel the arch and could walk forever in these without pain. Take time to break them in though, because I got some bad blisters on a long walk the 1st week I had them. Love the color too! Very cute. Not too earthy like the traditional Birkenstock. Would wear these in place of most of my gold Jcrew/Banana Republic sandals. I wear an 8.5-9. Had to return the first pair for 9's, so the run a little small. Only downside if I had to pick one. They are wider than your average sandal and sort of feels like you have little boxes on you feet. But they are still cute and a fabulous buy!

I'm very pleased to find you since the nearest store is too far for me to travel. Having worn only Birkenstock for many years, will continue to order through you now. The service was great.

Love these shoes; they are so comfortable. I wore them on a shopping trip and walked around all day and was still comfortable. I am online now to purchase another pair in a different color.

I love these shoes! Being an avid fan of Birkenstocks in my 20's, I knew I would love them again when I went back to the in my 40's. These are stylish, yet comfortable flip flops that work with shorts, pants, skirts, everything. And, of course, they're comfy. Did take a few short days to break them in for wearing and the sizing was tricky. I am a 36 in Danskos but not in this brand.

I wear an 8.5, and found that in this shoe, a 38 fit best. I have other European sized shoes that are 39's. The Gizeh in a 39, did not fit my heel properly in the heel cup, which is important. The toe thing did not bother me in the least. I just got them and walked in them for 6 hours with no pain. A little soreness, but not terrible. I look forward to wearing them all summer. The Golden Brown color is a perfect neutral for me.

These shoes are amazing! They look great, super stylish, and extremely comfortable. Didn't even need to break them in! The leather is really soft and the Orange is an amazing color. Almost like a burnt orange with a bit of metallic. Great shoe, would recommend it to anyone.

These shoes are fantastic! They not only look great on my foot but they are comfortable. I have a spinal condition and they ease the pain so very much!

Love this Birkie. There's no break-in period needed, and it's incredibly comfortable. I prefer this style, since it doesn't make your feet look boxy. Five stars all around.

My wife liked the Birkenstock Gizeh sandal so well she ordered another pair in a different color.

First I have to say that the shipping here is the best!!! I received my order less than 24 hours after I ordered, and the shipping I opted for was free. That was awesome by itself! The sandals fit perfectly. I wear a 8½ to a 9 so I ordered the 39 and they are perfect. These sandals give really great support on your archs. I guess from wearing such awful shoes for so long my archs had begun to fall because the first few days I wore these my feet ached a lot. When I took them off I could feel that my archs no longer hit the floor. I am keeping them and I will continue to wear them to hopefully fix my flat feet.

I ordered the copper brown color. Be aware that while I do like the color, it has a lot of metallic in it. I am debating about returning them and spending the extra money on the oiled brown one.

Love, love, love these sandals. Most Birkenstock shoes look frumpy on me but these are so stylish! And my feet are wide but these fit great.

I usually wear a size 6.5 to 7.0. I ordered a 36 and they fit great. Completely satisfied with my purchase. In fact, I want to order a pair for my mother-in-law's birthday!

I loved the look of these shoes on Zappos. When I received them, at first I was not sure of my order and thought about sending this back. Until I put them on with some jeans. They are adorable on and the comfort is amazing. They are a keeper! Also they do rather well for wide or narrow feet. I have somewhat of a wide foot and they fit amazing.

When I see the name Birkenstock I think comfort, excellent arch support, happy tootsies. The Gizeh sandal is a classic style, I ordered a smaller size based on others' recommendations that it runs a little large, I wear a 38 but ordered a 37 and it was a perfect fit. I loved the shipping upgrade provided by Zappos, I received my order in 3 days. You will not be disappointed with a Birkenstock sandal, they're not a flashy sandal but your feet will thank you, I own 4 different styles and I love them. They're a little stiff when you first wear them but soften quickly and mold to your feet, you won't be disappointed.

This is the perfect sandal when I'm vacationing because they have fantastic arch support, they're very comfortable and great for walking! I get a pair every summer!

Love these sandals. Love them so much, I ordered the black patent leather as well! I am also thinking about the silver. You'll wear these all spring and summer, so it's definitely worth the investment. A couple of things to note: They are about a half a size too big. I am normally a size 8 - which here is a 39. But I am really a 38 in Euro sizes and that stands true for Birks. So, if they feel a bit too big when you get them, I would return them and try the next size down. I thought I could keep the larger pair but found I was tripping all over the place and have decided to give them to my mom. Other than that, these shoes are great!

Great sandal - don't have much to add to the other reviews re. comfort, style, etc. But I will say that I think Zappos has the sizes misstated. I wear a 6.5 and the 37 was far too big for me. The 36 fits much better (and still has room for someone that's closer to a 7, I think). Regarding the colors - I ordered the Tobacco oiled leather first, and while it is neutral and would go with anything, I also found it incredibly...blah. Boring, and almost baby-poop-colored. Sorry, but that's what came to mind. When I sized down, I ordered the Habana oiled leather instead, and think it's much more attractive. It's a rich dark brown (not black, as the Zappos picture makes it appear) that's also a great neutral.
