I absolutely love my Birkenstocks! My feet are a half size different and they were comfortable the minute I put them on. I was going to warmer weather when I bought them and was able to go sight seeing in style. I can't tell you how many foreigners stopped me and asked me where I got them. I love the gold color also. They match with everything and make them look a bit less clunky. I am back to cold weather now and will look forward to wearing them when it gets warm again!

Beautiful sandal. I love the golden brown as it makes the sandal more versatile in what I can wear it with. It was comfortable the moment I tried it on!

Love...will be buying more colors. I put them on after long days of wearing heels and they are heaven.

I have pair in bright pink, that my 17 year old daughter kept wanting to borrow, so I bought these for her. They are great. So comfortable, and unlike lots of flip flop, they stay on. Worth the money.

These are perfect for someone like me with a narrow foot. They are moulded to fit your for perfectly, providing excellent support all around your foot. Most importantly they don't slip off when you walk, and you don't have to hold them on with your toes - which is the difficulty when you're trying to find flip flops for narrow feet. These are fantastic quality and I imagine they'll last a very long time.

I'm a long time Birk wear-er. These shoes look great and feel great. Had no problems breaking them in and the In toe piece was fine.

I had been admiring this sandal on friends for several months, so finally bought myself a pair. I had been warned that they aren't comfortable at first, but are great once broken in, and that was the case. Love the color, as it goes with everything from skirts to jeans!

I love these. The onyx color goes with everything, and they are so comfortable. I've worn them for a week (a lot) and have gotten many compliments - those are Birks? They're so cute! RE: Fit: I ordered both the 38 and the 39 and kept the 38's. I normally wear size 8A or B US, very rarely (sandals only) wear a 7.5. The 39 narrow felt long, the 38N felt a little short, but after switching back and forth and walking on the carpet for a few minutes, it became clear that the 38's were the right fit. The ridge under the toes felt like it hit in the right spot, and I wasn't spilling over anywhere.

With over 1000 reviews, who knows if mine will get read. Regardless - have to give my thoughts. At first, the shoe took some getting used to. It's not comfortable in the sense of "Oh! So cushiony" or what have you. But last week I wore them to an O's game where we were standing room only. I was on my feet for 4 hours. Any other shoe - I would have been sore and uncomfortable w/ a sore back w/in the first hour. No question. But in these shoes? I was fine the entire time. I never felt tired, my back never got sore. So happy about this. As another review I read said - I'm just sad I can't wear them in the winter!

These are great shoes, extremely comfortable and I personally love the style and color I picked. I bought these to wear in Greece where I knew that I would be walking a ton everyday. These worked out perfectly! I wore them almost everyday on my trip and walked around 2-5 miles a day. I wear them almost everyday at home now too- walking the dog, running errands etc. They are my new go to shoe. I have sensitive feet and bunions on both sides of my feet - big toe and small toe - sow these are amazing - no pressure or straps to irritate them. I would highly recommend these! I also got the Golden Brown color - I wear them with everything -black, brown, gray etc. They are the perfect color and just the right amount of gold - they are a perfect neutral.

I hadn't had a pair of Birkenstocks for 30 years so was pleased to find this very attractive style. Actually cute! The fit is perfect and the color is really nice. I wear shoes with thongs often, but this thong is really, really hard to get used to. It is not leather, which would soften so I almost returned them, but wrapped the thong with Moleskin and have slowly, over three weeks, been able to wear them beyond the house. I love them, yet had that difficulty at first.

Absolutely love these shoes. Like my girlfriend has said "they are like a hug for your feet" so comfy and darn cute too!

I have had two lower back surgeries in the last year. Cute sandals were now not allowed for me! :( However, I tried these on a whim and I LOVE THEM! It gives me the arch support that I need in a shoe and they are cute! I was very happy that now I could have a cute sandal that didn't hurt me, and I could show off a cute pedicure again. I have had so many compliments on them. I recently wore them on a trip and walked and walked- my back never started hurting and they were awesome. By far the best shoe I have ever owned. Just be sure to order a little big so that there is room for your toes... I had to send my first pair back and go up a size.

This is the most comfortable sandal I have ever worn! I am flat footed and have been experiencing foot problems for the past few years (plantar fasciitis, bunions, pronation, etc.) and was told my by podiatrist not to wear unsupportive sandals without an arch. It's not easy to find supportive, corrective shoes that are stylish, and wasn't sure I was a Birkenstock girl, but discovered these sandals and am thrilled at how I can wear them comfortably all day long! I also get lots of compliments on them. I now own two pair and just wish Birkenstock will start making stylish shoes since I'm now a big fan!

I needed to make a change to a something that had some support but also had a softer sole and the Birkenstock was the perfect match. I own multiple pairs in different colors and these silver ones were my latest purchase and they are my favorite! I wear them with my capris but they also look wonderful with my summer skirts and dresses.

These sandals are my first pair of Birkenstocks. I didn't find them to be very comfortable at first, but now that I've had a chance to break them in, I really like them. I also like the black patent leather, which works with jeans, shorts, skirts.

I have been diagnosed with Morton's Neuroma and have been given the sad news that the shoes I really like are "out" for now. So, I've been playing shoe bingo in my search for "comfort shoes." I really do like this style and ordered both the black patent & silver because they both go with my wardrobe; but I'm returning them for the Mayari which I don't like as well style-wise. The arch in the Gizeh seems a bit high for me. The Mayari seems slightly lower and fits my foot better. But if you can wear these, they are a great looking comfort shoe. They seem a little narrow too and I have a narrow foot.

Love these sandals. They are so comfortable. This is my favorite brand/style for comfort sandals. I've been buying them for 20+ years. Zappos' pricing is a bonus. Less expensive than most stores and I don't have to leave the house to shop.

LOVE this shoe! When they first came in, the leather felt a little stiff but as I wore them in true Birkenstock fashion, they molded to my feet and I cant seem to stop wearing them! Would like to purchase another pair in a different color for next summer as I am sure this will be my new summer staple shoe. Get a pair, you wont regret it!

I love these sandals. They've got the classic Birk footbed. I have ridiculously flat feet, so this is necessary. As a runner I've noticed less injuries since switching to these in daily life. The gold color might not be for everyone (my roommate gave me the "they're nice, but not for me" insult-compliment), but I've found they go with everything, and even make some things look a little nicer because of them. If you're looking for sandals that are casual-dressy (not formal though, for sure) these are a good fit. Birks always tend to run a little big, and my last pair slipped around on my feet a lot, so I got these in a size smaller (10) and they're perfect. One last note: it's going to take some time for them to break your feet in (let's be honest, that's what's happening with all those blisters), but they are the best sandals I've ever spent this much on.

Love these shoes! I had a pair of well loved Gizeh shoes that I have pretty much worn out. This gold-brown color is versatile and cool. These shoes take some breaking in but I love them!

As always with Zappos, they had exactly the color and size I was looking for and although noonegets Birkenstock to lower their prices, the shoes arrived so quickly (maybe 2 days) and they're perfect. Great comfortable sandals that dress up or work well with jeans. Zappos is #1 for online shopping.

When I first got these shoes I wasn't too happy with how they fit and thought about returning them. However, after about a week they were feeling great! I did have to get a size smaller than normal though. I get compliments on them every time I wear them. And as always, Zappos is the best!

Ordered these Birks in a 38, too big for my size seven feet! Sent back and got a pair in size 37, fit nicely! Love them! Had bunion surgery in June, still having some discomfort so bought these Birks and my feet hurt less and they give great support! Color nice too! Matches all my dresses and pants!! Recommend!

Size 37 does not equal a 6-6.5. Size 36 equals a 6 (maybe a 5.5-6). I ordered the 37 knowing this but trusted the "size chart." Returning for the 36! I wear a 6 and the 37 was way too big.
