These are my very first pair of Birkenstocks. I have had them about 3 years and they are in perfect working order. I have wide feet and they feet comfortably with no rubbing. I do need to look into having then recorked but otherwise I can and will still wear them until then. The best shoes in the world, in my opinion.

Very comfortable, molds to your foot perfectly. Size chart is off. I am a solid size 6, so according to the chart, I would order 37 (size 6-6.5). It was a whole size too big. I exchanged it for a 36 (size 5-5.5).

I ordered the "Antique Lace" color, which looked pale pink online. It is really more of a pearl color, which I actually like better.

These shoes are so wonderful. They are stylish -- until I had them on, I didn't appreciate how great-looking they are, but this is really a versatile, good-looking style. They can be dressed up or down, and they look terrific with shorts, dresses and jeans. The "Birko-Flor" is outstanding -- there is literally no sign of wear there after more than a year of constant use. The cork sole is showing some wear at the sides, but they're still in great shape. I have worn these shoes almost every day for more than a year, and we live close to the beach, so I'm hard on my shoes. I recommend these shoes to anyone. Now a special note for those with problem feet: If you haven't tried Birkenstocks, it's worth some consideration. After my second child was born, my feet suddenly sprouted awful bunions. (This runs in my family, but they came early and quickly for me!) It was debilitating, and I now need to wear prescription orthotics all the time. While I was very grateful for the recovery provided by the orthotics, I live in Florida and have an active lifestyle, and settling into orthotic footwear as my "new normal" was frustrating. We spend a lot of time at the beach and in the water, plus it's really very warm here during the summer. Sandals that accommodate thick orthotics well are expensive (more than twice as much as Birkenstocks), and even the best-made of them aren't manufactured to last long with salt and sand. Birkenstocks, incredibly, provide the same benefits for my feet as the expensive prescription orthotics, plus they are cool, light, have reasonably good traction on wet surfaces, and stand up pretty well to everything I used to do in the sandals I wore in my pre-bunion days. And they look fantastic. They are just as cool as any shoes out there, but when you compare them to orthotic footwear -- night and day. Now I save my orthotics for running and winter shoes, and wear Birkenstocks the rest of the year, with my doctor's approval. I am so very thankful. Also: You just can't beat shopping with Zappos. I bought these because I need extra foot support. I find them very supportive but the foot bed is hard. I am sure that is how it is supposed to be, and will get used to this. I think they are otherwise comfortable and if you are used to a flip flop with the toe strap, these are no different and that wasn't a bother to me. Look forward to wearing these.

Ridiculously comfortable. I am a longtime Birkenstock hater, and I never in a million years thought I would buy a pair of "those gross hippie shoes". I saw someone wearing a pair of pink Gizeh-Flor's which I thought were so cute compared to the Arizona, and I was compelled to check them out at a local store. I put them on my feet and thought "I never want to take these off". To echo a few other reviewers, the plastic thong piece is stiff at first but it softened up after a little while and these are literally the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn in my 40 years. I did a quick Google search on fit before I bought them, and I'm glad I read a couple of blogs on the subject first; my very solid normal size 40 would have been too big and a 39 fit perfectly. The adjustment of the buckle is also really important. I don't wear outside shoes inside my house, so I'm on here today buying another pair just for inside because I hate taking them off when I get home.

These are the second pair of Birkenstocks I've ever owned, with the first pair purchased just a couple of months ago. These are definitely the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I avoided them over the years but now I know why they are loved so much. They provide excellent arch support and are superbly crafted. I'm very happy with these shoes.

I never thought I'd buy Birkenstocks, but i love these. I have a wide foot, and the wide option fits perfectly. They are so comfortable and cute. I have the antique lace color and I think it's a great neutral that looks slightly less casual then the more classic colors.

I wear a 9, sometimes 9.5. So I was surprised that the 9/9.5 was so long! I exchanged for a 8/8.5 and these fit just right. They were very uncomfortable at first, especially the ridge under my toes. Based on the reviews stating the insoles mold to your feet, I wore them around the house for a good week. It's true, and after about a week I was confident to wear them outside. I actually think they look pretty (I bought Titsnium) and stylish -- not my typical impression of Birkenstocks.

Most comfortable shoes ever! I have a high arch, and these sandals provide the perfect support. Have several pairs, and I wear them almost exclusively.

These are the most comfortable sandals that I have ever owned. They are so comfortable and fit right to your feet! I am sad to put these away for winter! Not only are they so comfortable, they are always so cute. I bought the silver ones and they went perfect with everything!

I love the Gizeh sandal. I'm on my 4th pair in 8 years and I can't live without them. They are a summer staple and look great into the cooler days of fall with jeans. The metallic silver color is nice and bright without being overly shiny. I hope Birkenstock carries these for years and years to come.

I have these sandals in multiple colors. They hold up well and have great arch support. If you have plantar fasciitis you need these.

These quickly became my favorite shoes. At first I was worried because it seemed like they hit my feet in all the wrong places, but I had some Birkenstocks many years ago and I knew that they would mold to my feet. And they did after wearing them only a few times. I don't feel the plastic toe piece at all, maybe because I'm used to wearing flip flops. These shoes seem true to size for me. I usually wear an 8 or 8.5, so I got the size 39 and it worked fine. I also have a very high arch, so I can only wear sandals with adjustable straps. I had to use the outermost hole, but at least that fit. They stay on my feet well and don't flop like flip flops. In my opinion they are more stylish than regular Birkenstocks and could be dressed up or down. I am a very low-maintenance fashion girl, and I think these will be suitable for anything that I do. I live in a part of California where it's usually pretty warm and dry, so I'm planning on wearing these almost year-round. The only possible negative thing I can say is that at first I had a hard time driving with them because the thickness of the sole made it hard to feel the pedals. But I got used to it and it's not a problem anymore.

I love these. I've been wanting a pair for a long time, finally bought them. They were comfortable right from the beginning (but I am an avid flip-flip wearer). The titanium color is a metallic olive green and goes with everything. I ordered a 41 based on the recommended size, but returned them for a 40, which fit perfectly. I'm a 9.5 usually.

Love my new Birks! Lucky to have found these. Most retailers are out and will not be getting more until February! I had a quick question before I placed my order, customer service rep was great!

I'm a size US 6.5 and had ordered the Arizona sandals in 37(6-6.5) but it was too big and did not come 36 so I changed it for this model and the 36 fit perfect! I have the black Birko-flor and they look and feel really nice on my feet! :)

This will be my third pair of the Gizeh Birkenstocks. They are the best shoes ever. It is starting to get colder here in California but I refuse to wear any other shoes. I get so many compliments on them also. I am buying the white ones today because I will be getting married in them in January. Yep, that is right, I am getting married in Birkenstocks! Buy the shoes, you will not regret it. People are commenting about them hurting the first couple days, and that is true. Give it a couple of days. You will not want to take them off after that.

I love this shoes. They are very comfortable and good looking! I have also in brown and white antique, all of then are amazing!

Customer Service is 5 star! The sandals I ordered were too big and Zappos had the correct size out to me the next day. They sent me what I ordered but it was just too big. When I received the replacement sandals, they fit like a glove. Zappos has given me 2 weeks to get the first order back to them and I have still only paid once. How nice they trust me!
