I really love the shoes! I was hesitant to keep them after I saw the plastic piece at the toe area, thinking it would be uncomfortable to wear the shoes. It took a little bit a day maybe, and you know longer feel the plastic between your toes. Shoes are absolutely amazing for people who have high arches or plantars fasciitis.

Very comfortable with excellent arch support. I had to purchase a size larger than I normally would. I'm a 9.5 but had to but the 10 - 10.5 size to get a proper fit.

Killed at first, really need to break them in but eventually they were amazing. Wear them everyday!

I love the combination of an earthy, crunchy Birk and stylish silver accent. Birks are not as comfortable as some other shoes, like Bjorn or Taos, but it's the idea I like here.

Over the years I think I've bought three iterations of this sandal. It is my summer staple. It's cute and has great arch support so it's perfect for a lot of walking/standing. You won't regret these!

I really like the shoes. I've been walking around in Reef flip flops for some time and felt like I needed more arch support and a more sturdy summer sandal. These totally fit the bill. Comfortable and stylish and I get compliments on them all the time.

These are the best sandals. Stylish and comfy for every day wear. I had an old pair that I had to do away with and am so happy to have purchased a new pair. I'll probably wear these for many years to come. Great quality as well! Although, I have a 38 in all of my Birkenstocks but this one did seem to run just a little smaller than the others.

Theses shoes are so great if you have foot or back problems. They offer so much support but are way cuter than most shoes that are good for your feet! They run true to size. I wear a 9 and the size 40 is perfect. I read several reviews before ordering and I disagree that the plastic thong piece is uncomfortable. I actually ordered a 39 & 40 to try due to Zappos' awesome return policy and the 39 fit okay but the thong piece was very uncomfortable. So, I'd say if it hurts, you're not wearing the right size. I kept the black pair because they go with everything but the antique lace is really pretty too! It was hard to decide! Glad to be back in Birkenstocks! Haven't worn them since the 90's!

Super comfortable! I had always shied away from these cause they just looked too hippie-ish for me. This style is great! I could never conceive how a cork footbed could possibly be comfy. I don't know how, but it is very comfy! I literally have not stopped wearing them since I got them. I will say my feet were tired first few days during break in. I wear a solid size 8 but they were too big. I sized down based on recommendations and it was the perfect fit!! Get these shoes!!! And THANK YOU Zappos for being so amazing and patient with me!!! I'm very satisfied with the Gizeh sandals. I have a long history of foot issues, including plantar fasciitis and stress fractures, so I'm always looking for supportive shoes that aren't hideous or matronly. These are super comfortable and cute. I chose the silver because it is a neutral versatile color that looks dressy enough for me to wear at my business casual office.

I bought this shoe in black. I usually wear size 7, the size 38 was a size too large. Unfortunately, this style was not flattering on my feet (accentuated the wideness of my feet). This is going back.

Uh. Maze. Ing. I have been wearing these almost non stop since I got them. Very little break in required, they fit like a dream. Feel very sturdy, but trendy at the same time! I usually wear a size 8.5-9 and I ordered 40. They work great!

Quality and well-made shoe. Shoe runs large and hits arch wrong if foot is not at the very back of shoe.

I love these! Our new puppy tore up my other flipflops so decided to find a new shoe to buy! Loved the way these looked. Definitely go down a size like other reviews said. Usually wear a 7-7 1/2 which would be a 38 euro and I bought the 37. Great fit! Was worried they would be too wide on my feet since I have a pretty narrow food but they fit great (was out of the narrow size when I bought them). Can tell it will take a little bit to break in but they'll still comfy nevertheless. Would for sure buy again!

I am sorry, but had to send these back. I am a true size 6 and according to the size chart it should be a 37. Order a size smaller. I did order size smaller and narrow and they were wonderful.
