I ordered these shoes in silver, and they're so cute! They look great with jeans or a dress. When I first put them on, the left shoe felt really comfortable, but the right shoe sort of hurt. I wore them around the house for awhile, and the right shoe became more comfortable. Then I wore them out for a night--and I walked quite a bit around the downtown area. While they still weren't as comfortable as my older Birks, they felt okay. Next, I took them to Austin for a conference and wore them when I walked downtown for dinner. It must have been too much walking too soon, because I ended up with blisters at the base of my second toe on both feet. I think it's just going to take a bit of time to break them in, but it took awhile to break in my older pair, too. Birks are totally worth the break-in period, though, because once they're broken in, they're almost as comfortable as my Nikes--no one ever compliments me on my Nikes, though. ;)

I was asked to answer a question about this Birkenstock regarding the width. I hit submit accidentally. So to answer the customers question: I’m not sure if I have regular or narrow. But, without going back and risking the msg getting sent prematurely I would say If given a choice I always choose regular. I’m a true size 7 and because, i needed them for a trip to universal studios Florida I ordered both the size 6 & 7. I’m so glad I did because the size 7 was too big. The 6 fit perfect and I’m a true size 7. I walked a ton while on our vacation and my feet never gave me any problems. Although, just to make sure I did wear them around my house for the few days before our trip to break them in.

Another cute style to update the basic Birkenstock sandal. Same great sole with a T/flip flop style. Very comfortable.

Feels great! Usually a medium in width never knew I could fit comfortably in narrow but excellent choice and findings on my part. First time I try Birkenstock. Would order more but in many styles Thank you Zappos

Immediately comfortable, love the style, but be warned — the toffee is actually a shiny copper color. Was not expecting that from the picture on the website. Not terrible, just unexpected.

I love birks. They have amazing arch support. I have flat feet and I can wear these all day and not have sore ankles at the end of the day. I wore them all weekend to an outdoor music festival and they felt great. Not too hot to wear either. I’m going to order the Madrid’s next. I’m 38 and my feet can’t handle flip flops anymore.

Fit too big. Didn't like the way it looked in person.

These are my absolute favorite shoes. They are so comfortable and cute too. I ordered one size smaller than my normal size. My only complaint is that the sole has worn in the front because I scuff my foot as I walk. I've had them two years and was hoping they'd last longer without having to resole them.

These were too wide for me! Footbed is comfortable, but couldn't adjust the strap tight enough for my size 5 foot. Unfortunately, must return.

I love these!! I find these to be one of the cutest styles of Birkenstocks however this one runs big. I wear a size 7 (38) but had to exchange them and found he 37 fits best.

normally wear a size 6 1/2... the recommended size(37) was to long

I love this sandal. Very comfortable to wear all day, and they look great with dresses or jeans. I'll be buying more in other colors for sure. They are more expensive then basic summer footwear but they are a classic for a reason - well made, comfortable, and attractive.

One of the best pair of shoes that I've ever owned. They were durable and had excellent arch support. So comfortable. I really put the miles in on these shoes. During the 2nd summer the cork began to crack. This pair will now be my garden shoes. Getting ready to purchase my 2nd pair.

Ended up sizing down and they fit perfectly. I'm a size 7 and got a 36. Regular width was perfect too!

I typically wear a size 37 but 36 fit perfectly. Narrow was really narrow so regular wide was perfect!

These are the only sandals I can wear all day and not have sore feet. They are excellent quality and go with a ton of summer outfits!
