LOVE THIS SHOE -
Bought this because I was experiencing foot problems from using flip flops. This shoe is great for your feet. Wonderful support, completely comfortable and the shoe molds to fit your individual foot. Make sure your toes have enough room!

Zappos is amazing. Anyone who is having hesitations about ordering from them, don't! If you order them in the morning, you get them the next day. These shoes are my first pair of Birkenstocks and I could not be happier. I ordered a full size smaller (I usually wear a 40, but I ordered a 39) and they fit perfect. They are so comfortable and I now understand the hype behind Birkenstocks. I am addicted to shopping at Zappos!

I love these shoes. I was a bit worried about the size, but I just used the size guide and they fit perfectly. It took a week or two to get them nice and worn in (I got blisters the first few times I wore them), but once they were nice and worn in, they have become my favorite and most comfy shoes!

Birkenstock Gizeh Birko-Flor in golden brown -
These sandals are a little more "stylish" or dressy than some Birkenstocks (both in style and color) and look fine with skirts and dresses. They were comfortable right out of the box and fit true to size: I wear a 7 1/2 and ordered a 38N. (I don't usually order narrow shoes, but always have in Birkenstocks.)

Awesome, awesome shoe!! I saw these on HSN a few years ago and I fell in love with them, but I couldn't afford them. I just happened to be at Zappos one day and looked up Birkenstocks, and I was ecstatic to find a cheaper version of the Gizeh sandal. It only took a couple of days to break them in, wearing them for a few hours at a time. They are by far the most comfortable shoe I've ever had. When I'm not wearing them, it's almost like feet are craving them. At my job, I'm constantly standing or walking, and after a day at work while wearing these, my feet are absolutely fine. The only problem is, the Birkenstock footbed has kind of spoiled my feet. When I wear different shoes to work, ones that never hurt my feet before, they now make my feet sore! I guess I'm going to have to get a pair of Birkenstock clogs as well so I can alternate the two for work.

I've been wearing Birkenstock shoes for 10 plus yrs...This is a really nice color and cute for the summer...Can't wait to wear them. I was really amazed at how quickly they arrived at my door..It was better than going to a shoe store.

Best sandal ever!
I bought these from Zappos.com to replace a pair that I'd purchased in a Birkenstock store. I have to say that they are the most comfortable sandal I have ever owned. I wear them all day long and my feet never hurt or feel tired. I should mention that about 8 or 9 months into wearing them every day, I started feeling a bump under the cork under the ball of my left foot. I had to stop wearing the sandal because I was getting a blister from this slight protrusion. Maybe I'd worn them so much I just wore the sandal out? Well...It hasn't stopped me from buying a second pair! Never thought I'd own a pair of Birkenstocks but I am definitely a convert. The sandal ran 2 sizes smaller for me. I normally wear a 7.5 and I buy the 36 (5 - 5.5) which fits like a glove.

Pair number 4 (and counting)
This will be my 4th pair of Gizeh sandals (all purchased from Zappos, as are most of my shoes). They offer the traditional Birkenstock comfort and support, but the thong design is somewhat more stylish, and doesn't make the foot look so wide. I actually prefer the Birko-Flor to real leather, because there is no break-in -- the shoes are immediately comfortable and I get no blisters. Overall, an excellent shoe from an excellent store.

I normally wear a size 7.5, although if a shoe is wide than I might end up with a 6.5. I tried these on in the store and ended up with a regular width, 36 (5-5.5). The regular width is extremely wide, which just happened to fit me perfectly. I would go down at least one size, if not two!

These shoes are very comfortable, as are most Birkenstocks. The strap comes up higher on your foot, so your foot does not slap with each step. Thus, giving a decent look without the "flip flop" sound and discomfort. They are not the prettiest - but most people don't wear these shoes for appearance only.

I originally purchased this shoe in an 8 1/2 but I had to return them for a size 9 as it felt like my big toe was touching the top of the toe box. I have never worn a size 9 in my life but the 9 fits perfectly. I wear this shoe to train in for my first 5K run and from the first time out, the shoe is very comfortable and cushioning. No break in time! I highly recommend this shoe but recommend getting 1/2 size larger than you normally do.

I avoided Birks for 42 years, but after being diagnosed with plantar fasciitis, I had to give in. They're not exactly flattering, but the Gizeh is the most fashionable Birkenstock style available. They're also incredibly comfortable and relieve my foot pain. Order a size smaller. I'm a 10, but the 41 was too big. A 40 was perfect.

I ordered the black size 40 and I wear a 10M (some times a 9.5M). The between toe strap was a little uncomfortable the first day and so was the sole but after 1 days wear it broke in and now is completely comfortable.

These sandals are great. They take a few days to break into them, but once they're "molded" to your foot, they are very comfortable and provide a lot of support. I always order the Euro size smaller than what I normally wear in "American" size and I've never had a problem.

I love my sandals - I have worn Birks before, and I went with the narrow this time because I read on Birkenstocks web site that narrow is a US regular. I am glad I made that decision because they fit perfectly. Also I fit into a size 39 (8) even though I normally wear a 9.

I love these shoes! I get compliments on them all the time and they are so comfortable.
Unfortunately, these sandals were very Uncomfortable when I first got them, but after a few days of breaking them in they felt great. Also, I had to order a much smaller size than I expected: I normally wear a 7 and only the size 36 fit comfortably. I love Zappos. They make ordering and returning so easy! Yay!!
