I like them in the summer and fall but not in the winter. They are waterproof but too cold. There is less structure compared to my other Oboz boots but lighter. They only lasted a couple years. I did replace them with the same boot so overall they are worth it.

The new look is great. The feel is great. Im just starting to use them& break them in, but so far so good. I think they look great with any pants too. They are sleeker and maybe even a bit dressier than the last kind. I love Oboz!

Pretty good hiking boots. Light but still have some good support. My main issue is the lacing system. . . it's hard to adjust them to get a nice snug fit and keep it snug. Previously had the Bozeman Leather mid and they had a much better lacing system. However the Cottonwood have better support so there's some trade-off. Another issue to be aware of is these are pretty high volume boots, so they likely aren't a fit for those with thinner feet. I had to replace the Oboz insole (which I usually love) for a more bulky orthotic insole to get these to fit my feet well. They are nice and stable and provide good support for walks and hikes.

I (still) have the Sypes Mid, and they are some of the most comfortable boots/shoes I own, size 13, fit absolutely perfect outta the box. These Cottonwoods are more of my winter street/office boot, and they are great so far. Warm and great in cold/snowy weather. The only thing is the toe area is much larger than the previous Sypes. Both size 13. Not to the point its an issues, but its noticeable. Maybe i'll break in overtime, but even with that, still great shoes.

I really like these boots. They are light yet supportive. They fit well (true to size) and have enough room in the toe box for your toes to splay without being too loose. I feel that it's actually how hiking boots should fit. The heel cup is also well made but takes a minute to break in. There is a little rubbing at first but it goes away. I feel really stable in these boots. My only problem would be the laces. They continually come untied. Even sometimes with a double knot. Maybe after they get a little water and mud on them they may stay tied? Anyway, this is a great boot. Highly recommend!

Received these a couple of weeks ago and love the look. Theyre hiking boots without being too bulky. I havent used them on any trails yet but seem well made. At first I considered returning them because they dont have a very big toe box and were slightly tight on my small toe but after wearing them a couple times they broke in and fit great. Will review again after taking them off road.

These are my third pair of Oboz shoes and my previous two pairs are still in great shape. The insoles are so good I didnt even have to replace them with orthotics. I just ordered a forth pair because the sale was too good.

I love this shoe! The Cottonwood seamlessly blends form and function, offering a lightweight design that keeps your feet dry with its waterproof capabilities. Stylish enough for daily wear yet rugged enough for trail adventures, it is the ideal hybrid shoe for various settings.
