Soon after I replaced my last pair of shoes (which were only a few more old) with the Oboz, the plantar fasciitis I had suddenly developed started improving. These shoes gave me better support and stability.

Love these shoes! Felt perfect since I tried them on. Comfy, good for trekking and truly waterproof! Read a poor comment about the laces: just do a double knot n you wont have to worry about it until is time to take them off! Great buy!

I'm still breaking these shoes in as they have a different drop of 8mm versus my summer walking shoes that are 3mm. However, they feel good on my feet and definitely are waterproof. They are very sturdy. The toe box is wonderful in that it is wider without the rest of the shoe being wider. I can put in my own orthotic insole. The sole and heel appear to be very durable. Easy to use the website to order, which I appreciate. They did take a while to be sent to me but well worth the wait. Love the glacier blue color!

I haven't worn them yet but the fit is excellent, good support and my old favorite insoles from Oboz. I will let you know if I encounter any issues but so far so good. Nice material and the tongue is gusseted which is important since I live in the sandy desert Southwest.

Nice comfortable support. This shoe has a wider toe box than the traditional Oboz. I love the extra room!!

Felt true to size. Like walking in a broken in shoenice and comfortable!

These are the best! They have a nice wide toe box, snug heel , amazing support and snug heel. Lightweight. Waterproof so wonderful for romps with with doggo in town or on the trails

I love my Cottonwood LOW Waterproof shoes. They're very comfortable and give great support. I had some bone surgery on my foot so I need good shoes plus I do love tromping through the woods with my camera so I must have good shoes. After trying lots of different shoes I found Oboz!! I've Looked no farther, Oboz is my choice. I have several different pair, and they're all great!! Thank you Oboz!!

I was looking for a more "casual" shoe, and although, these could certainly be worn that way, they really are made more trail IMO. Wonderful shoe and very comfortable! I ordered my normal size of 9. My initial thought when taking them out of the box was they are too long, but they fit perfect. These are supportive, grippy, and have a lot of heel cushion. There is forefoot cushion, but not as much as heel. I already have a pair of the Katabatic Wind's which are about the same style shoe (although the Wind has more forefoot cushion) so I decided to return these. These are a sharp looking pair of hiking shoes-the olive is gorgeous and I would have kept them if I did not have the Katabatic Wind (another GREAT shoe!)

The Cottonwoods don't seem to fit the same as my other Oboz. I've owned at least a dozen pair over the past few years. The footbed is still great! However the toe box fits differently than any other Oboz I've had. It seems lower and tighter. I didn't realize it until I had worn them for a few hours, so now I can't return them.

Great look. Unfortunately, it was very wide. Usually wear thick wool socks with my many other Oboz, this one needed 2 pairs of socks. If you have a more narrow foot, this style might be too wide. Wish it came in a narrow width....
