I have always bought Vionic shoes in a size 6 but this shoe felt much larger and I actually set it side-by-side with my other Vionic sneakers and it was longer. Also, the tongue of the shoe is very short. When I tried them on and tied them the tongue was so short that where I made the bow part of the tie was not on top of the tongue as it usually is with shoes but rather sat on. my sock. Also the tongue feels strangely kind of like cardboard.

Not a fan of these Vionics. I have had several pairs of Vionics over the years. These felt cheap. The toungue was weirdly short and wide and made out of a material that felt plastic. They were cute but I didn’t think they were worth the money.

This shoe has excellent arch support (as most Vionic shoes do). However, as other reviewers mention, the tongue is very thin and not long enough so when you tie the shoe the bow is at the edge of the tongue and cuts in to the top of your foot. The other major issue I have is that there is a large "V" notched into the sole. When you walk it creates a kind of suction cup effect and makes an unpleasant sound.

Too heavy

I bought these for my mom for mother's day. She only wears slip on shoes. She has a pair of Vionic athletic shoes that she loves. I thought these would be similar. They say slip on, but they still have laces that need to be tied. It says tie them once and then slip on, but then what happens when they inevitably come untied? She'll have to wear herself out trying to tie them herself, or ask for help from someone.

I wear size 7 normally. In sneakers, I always purchase 7.5. These, however, run large, so no need to order the half size bigger. They fit like regular sneakers, not extra comfy or anything. I decided to return them because they were also not very attractive, imo.

Okay, I like vionics because they really help with plantar fasciitis. And these shoes feel great when they're on. BUT. The tongue is made out of a very thin material that smushes into the shoe when I put my foot into it. And the tongue is so short that I can't really grasp onto it. So every time I put these on, it's a struggle. And I mean a knock-out fight Struggle. That makes me hate them with a passion. Here's a hint...most people buying Vionics shoes have some type of foot or mobility issue. So making a shoe that I cannot get on without practically killing myself is not good.

Although these shoes were the right length, the heel was so wide that I could take them off without untying them. Just not the right fit for me, so I returned them.

I found the 8.5 to be almost a whole size larger. They felt light weight for the size, which is a plus. The sole extends beyond the shoe all the way around. Some may like this feature, but it does make the shoe look larger than it is.

Has decent arch support as compared to other "comfort" shoes Wanted these to be perfect, but they actually hurt where ankle touches shoe. Returning

More head room for the toes would be nice. I felt my big toe hit the ceiling every time I moved my foot. I like the curved heel but the toe could also curve up more like the famous clog-makers style, and the popular walking shoe makers styles. Also the shoe has a large horizontal wrinkle protruding from the ball to the heel on the inner half of the shoes. The arch support is great very comfortable but the toe was feeling smashed even in a size up from my usual 10 to 10.5. Remember: taller people have larger diameter bones and larger diameter toes.

It is very hard to find black sneakers with a black sole. Most black sneakers have white soles. I really wanted to love these shoes. They are truly comfortable on the bottom of my feet and provide great arch support. Unfortunately, the tongue construction of this shoe needs work. The tongue is very thin with no cushion at all. The tongue also slides around and moves back and forth across the top of the foot. This makes the shoe very uncomfortable and gave me a sore across the top of my foot. I think if they add cushion to the tongue and able to stabilize the tongue better this would be a great option. Definitely not worth the current price of $175.00

I so wanted to love these shoes, but they are not great. I've had vionics in the past so thought these would work. While they are true to size with nice arch support, they are a fairly uncomfortable shoe. Where the tongue attaches to the shoe, there's very little cushioning, I've gotten severe blisters on top of both of my big toes where that area of the shoe digs in and rubs. I generally walk two to four miles a day. I don't know if there's a break in period, but I did not have this with my last pair of shoes which were Brooks. I do not recommend these.

The arch support sat too far back and the sides inside rubbed and what should have been a great shoe was so uncomfortable I am returning them

The tongue is too short and cuts into the ankle.

I usually get a different style which I love and they are perfect for me. Thought I would try different style. Black Friday sale. Big mistake, Way, way too much arch support. Will stick with my usual from now on.

Ordered a narrow and received a medium width. Too wide for a narrow foot.

These were so stiff and small- toe touched the front of the sneaker. No room. I always wear a 9. Very uncomfortable,

The orthotic in these was great. Unfortunately the piece of plastic like material at the front of the laces was hard and rubbed across the top of my foot. It became very uncomfortable after a 12 hour shift. The shoes were also very boxy and bulky looking. They made my feet look huge. They didn’t feel like they were very well made. I ended up taking out the orthotic and putting it in my old shoes. Save some money and just by a pair of the Vionic insoles

Fell apart when barely worn

Cute on the outside but low quality for a high priced shoe. Uncomfortable interior - seams that rub against toes and no support. Disappointing.

Too Big, my feet hate these shoes. . Uncomfortable, can't return because I wore them. Ordered the same size as all my other walking shoes. Several different brands

I had purchased another style of Vionic's and the fit was perfect! I loved the shoes! The first time I ordered these from Zappos they actually came from Amazon and the shoes were huge - even though I had ordered the exact same size! I returned them and reordered! The shoes came from Zappos this time; however, they were HUGE!!!!! I refuse to try again!
