The Topo Magnifly has been my training shoe of choice for the past 4 years. I transitioned from another natural toe box, zero drop brand that wasn't holding up well. Topo's tread tolerates the road very well; I don't experience a loss of responsiveness in the foam or traction on the rubber even leading up to 400 miles of running. I've purchased previous versions in colors that were not my first choice, but was really glad to see the Magnifly 5 in the black/charcoal combination- they look great! More importantly, they fit really well, give my toes proper room for a natural splay and have a nice, snug ankle for a confident fit during speed work sessions. #sweepstakes

At first I thought the Topo was too soft, but after wearing them for a day, my foot pain actually improved. I think it is the zero drop, because I have another pair of Topos that did not do the trick.

I've had these for about a year now. It's really hard for me to find shoes I can wear for long periods of time. I really like the zero drop and wide toe box of barefoot shoes but I'm not looking to completely get rid of any cushioning or arch support. I live in New York and do a lot of walking on hard ground/hard floors. And I'm still working on building up the strength in my arches. These shoes are exactly what I was looking for and they are extremely comfortable.

I feel best in zero drop shoes, and the Magnifly has been my running shoe for years now. Topos was recommended by my doctor, and I'm grateful. They got me through my first ultramarthon last year, and I'm still going strong (over 55). Strongly recommend.

I'm just getting back into running and I'm a zero drop girlie because they make my bunions a non-issue.. Though I LOVE my Altras for backpacking, when I ran in them, they felt flat and hardno fun! So glad I found the Magnifly! There's just something fun and inspiring about a little spring. Idk, a little more cushion helps me lose myself in the moment more. Love the turquoise ones but am going to order the charcoal as my wear on the plane/ run when I get there shoe.

Love these, the shape is great for my wide toe box and smaller/average heel (aka, my duck feet). And they actually look nice.

I had some other Topos that were an older model. These are sooooo much lighter!! I love the large toe box. I used to love another brand but they "sold out" to fashion. My feet love zero drop. For me, these shoes check all of the boxes. Lightweight, cushioned, large toe box, and zero drop. My new favorites.

So I've struggled to find a pair of wide enough shoes lately. This shoe however has the room I need. I hope Topo will add a shoe this wide to their trail shoes. The foot box doesn't taper as much as some of their others which is really helpful as I have extra wide women's feet. My feet are more straight across on the toes so my pinky toe is so happy in these shoes. I also love that they stay a bit wider through the midfoot. Please keep making real wide shoes I left Altra because you do better.

Finally, the perfect running shoe has been invented! The zero drop allows your posture to be as nature intended it to be. Elevating the heel, as most shoes do, changes the angle of every joint in your body, causing stress, increased pressure on the balls of the feet, and an unnatural gait. The amount of cushioning in the Magnify 5 provides the right amount of shock absorption for when running, or even just walking, on paved surfaces. The wide toe box allows your feet to splay instead of cramping your toes together into a point, which is ridiculous, if you think about it. If you look at the shape of most shoes, they do not match the shape of the foot. Topo nailed it with the Magnify 5!
I'd also recommend:
Merrell Barefoot, Xero, and any shoes with a zero drop and wide toe box

I cannot even count how many pairs of the Magnifly I have owned (I think I started with the Magnifly 3). From the wide toe box to the light weight and cushioning feel these shoes perform to perfection on every run - from a 5K to a half marathon. With bunions and a few other foot issues no other shoe fits me as well as the Magnifly. Thank you Topo for making a shoe that works for my funky feet!

When my second pair of Magniflies wore out I tried the Pursuit 2 instead because I was hiking a lot more, but oh boy - if you have wide feet stick with the Magnifly. I just bought a new pair of Magniflies and I am in foot heaven again! I especially love that I can order my usual size and it fits in the width - so often I have to order a half size up, but then it's really too long in the toes or too loose in the heels.

This is the shoe I've been dreaming of - foot shaped but soft and comfy. I felt the difference the moment I put them on. They have helped with my PF pain and my toes don't go numb from being squashed into a point. Definitely will be buying more. Only con - I wish the highest loft came in 0 drop.

I’ve just put them on, but they feel very good. I had to go half a size smaller because of availability and it actually feels good. I wear orthotics so that’s always a challenge.
I'd also recommend:
Someday, I would like to try on shoes with the wide toe box.

I have two generations of the Magnifly. Love them for weight training. The only "construction" rec I have is maybe add some more support in the ball of the sole. The greatest request I have is GET MORE and BETTER colors. The colors you have are pretty "blah". I'd suggest this across the board in all of your shoes. Look at the industry and see what colors they are putting out. PRETTY PLEASE WITH SUGAR ON TOP!!!

I wear my Topos everyday to work and running. I'm on my feet an average of 14,000 steps a day plus more on run days and these shoes never give me problems. Before finding Topos I suffered with blisters when I ran and had issues with Plantar Fasciitis. Since switching to Topos I have zero issues with my feet!

I'm a somewhat casual 5k runner. Ran track in school. Now a middle manager trying to maintain some athleticism. I love these because of the low heel to toe drop. I'm a forefoot striker so I'd be happy if my shoes just didn't bother with any heel cushion. Well, I guess it would be weird to walk in them if there wasn't heel cushion, eh? I think the amount of cushion is perfect for intermediate mileage. Finally, they have a roomy toe box, yet it's actually possible to snug up the mid-foot enough to keep my toes from crashing into the front of the shoe. Please never change these. Color changes are acceptable.

These were my first pair of zero drop shoes and have since added 2 more pair of topos. Super comfortable right out of the box. I have what I would consider a normal foot shape and this wide toe box feels great, the heel still fits snug and feels secure. I don't use these for running/training, but instead reserve them for my work shoes as I stand for 10+ hours and these have been the only shoe I have had all day comfort in.

Comfortable from the moment I put them on. I have high arches and felt that they were supportive enough. It did take time for my feet to adjust to the 0mm foot drop.

After injuring my foot/Plantar Fasciitis, I had a YouTube video of a foot doctor come up on my site. She talked about a healthy athletic shoe=zero drop, less plush, and wide at toes. She suggested some brand names. And so, I started looking and educating myself about barefoot shoes. I bought this shoe, hoping it would fit my narrow heel. I put these on and my first thought was, "Nice!" The shoe cradled my feet so beautifully. I walked around and I noticed most my pain in my foot disappeared! Awesome! I also noticed the heel area was fitting excellent; no sliding or rubbing. I had bought these for jogging and walking in our fields. I did wear them walking in the field and they were very good. But I feel like I need a different pair for more uneven terrain. And so, I will keep these for paths, road, and shopping. I am looking at another pair of Topos for uneven walking/ jogging, and hiking. I highly recommend these. My first pair of zero drop, barefoot shoes. I'm very happy.
