Very poor, sloppy, construction. If you are sensitive, Minnetonka is definitely not the shoe for you. Large knots from heavy threaded stitching are on the inside rubbing, rough heavy suede edges also rub on the inside. An interior fabric lining over the suede would help, as in another pair of mocassins from Walmart, none the less, were much more comfortable but no longer available. My left foot has always been larger than my right....this right foot was smaller than left, even when placing the shoes side by side it was evident. Do not order a full-size smaller as normally recommended for Minnetonka. Go only a 1/2 if at all. I did not return the shoes because I thought I could stretch them, do some sewing myself, but bad mistake on my part.

Very cute, but runs very narrow. Also, the stitching cut into my foot near my pinkie toe. Ouch.

Extremely wide even though I got an M. No matter what size I got they were too wobbly. I returned them.

I love the look of these moccasins, but the sizing is way off. I normally wear a size 8, but ordered a size 7 after reading the reviews. The left shoe fit perfectly, but the right shoe had a different toe shape and was sloppy on my foot. Both were marked a size 7. I had to return, because the right shoe would not stay on my heel. This pair was made in China.

Returning!! Much too large!!!

Poor quality, stiff, uncomfortable & ugly

I have worn Minnetonka for over 30 years. I will never buy another pair, they are cheap, absolutely no support at all, ugly & overall completely inferior.

These are terrible. The black color bled all over my feet. And not easy to wash off. Ugh! Further more, the soles hurt when I walked. Going back!!

These shoes have been, by far, my biggest shoe-related disappointment ever. They were no more comfortable or supportive than the $5 flats from your local big-box store, and they fell apart in about the same amount of time - I ordered 3 pairs of these, and within 3 months, all of them had the soles just coming right off. I contacted Minnetonka and they were great, sent me some new pairs, but I had the same problem with the replacements.

So mad. I have 6 pairs of these all in size 9. These came and were so far off in size it was a joke! Obviously something went wrong because I could barely get them on. Not a happy customer

What a disappointment! After 8 months of moderate wear -- perhaps a total of 6 times on my feet, they have fallen apart! The leather has completely torn away from the side stitching on the right moccasin at the right side, top of the shoe. When I was a kid, we would get a new pair of Minnetonka mocs while vacationing in WI. That was back in the '70s when they were probably made in the USA. Are they made in China now? I wish I could get my money back or at least a new pair. These were one of my favorite shoes...not any more. So sad.

Wow! I was really surprised at the changes that Minnetonka has made to it's Thunderbirds. I had several pairs of these in the past and LOVED them. These, however, barley cover your toes and offer no support at all. The tread is so heavy that it pulls the shoe off your foot. I ordered two pair of the same size. One fit fine and the other was a 1/2 size too big. Additionally, there were a bit narrow - pinches pinky toes. So very disappointed.

These are horrible. I am so disappointed. After reading all of the stellar reviews, I expected these moccasins to last longer than one wearing. The second day they were worn, they completely ripped along the upper, top seam. And when I say second day of wearing them, day one consisted of walking around the house. Day two was walking around the classroom. These shoes never hit the outdoors for a moment, either as boots were worn to and from school. The shoes fit fine (although I ordered one size larger than I normally wear) and were comfortable. I am contacting Zappos today to return, but that does not mitigate the extremely poor craftsmanship. I bought these for my daughter to wear with a Native American outfit that she was to wear to school as part of her third grade class on the subject matter. So I was so upset that her shoes ripped within the first hour of wearing them on the second day. Torn shoes just ruined the presentation experience for her, I am sorry to say, And it is not as though these are cheap shoes either! I will contact Zappos today to return them. As they were a Christmas present, but not previously worn, I hope that there is no issue with returning them. I hope that the replacements hold up longer than the first pair.

I have been wearing these shoes for many years. This is the first time that I have ordered from Zappos and also the last. These shoes are second hand. That is why some are small and some large. If that was so stated, it would be different. The stitching is bad and irregular. The knots are rough. I ordered two pairs in different colors, the widths were different on each shoe. I have worn these shoes since 1965, so I know first run from second. I ordered these for a last minute vacation. This was so disappointing.

Left shoe much smaller than right. Right shoe flopped to the right in front. Like the look but too poorly made.
