I bought 4 pairs of Minnetonka moccasins for my mother. There was something wrong with each pair. At least one shoe in each pair did not fit correctly, was mis -shapen , or gapped around the top of foot. She was very disappointed. It makes me feel that these are very cheaply made, with little or no consistency or quality control. I will never buy these for her again

I have been wearing this brand for over 30 years, but I’ll never buy them again. Sloppy workmanship, awful fit, sides just gave no support & fit was awful

I have had this shoe in multiple pairs for years and always get an 8.5. When my latest pair arrived they felt a full size bigger even though the size said 8.5! Very disappointing! Returning.

I ordered a half size smaller than I normally wear because of the other reviews I read stating that these moccasins stretch with wear. Usually, I wear a size 8.5 N--when I can find a shoe in a narrow width; sometimes I can wear a medium if it doesn't run wide. I ordered this shoe in a size 8, and my toes just hit the end of the shoe. But it wasn't uncomfortable, so the half size smaller was the right size to have ordered. I have pretty narrow feet so was able to wear a medium thickness sock with this shoe if I chose to, but I couldn't have afforded any more width if I had wanted to wear these shoes without socks, which I did want to do sometimes, so in time I might have only been able to wear them with socks if they stretched in width. I liked the look of the shoes, but had to return them because the outer sole of the shoe was narrower than the insole, so each side of my foot bent down into the gap between the outer sole and the insole (not sure of the proper terminology here), and I found this to be immediately uncomfortable, particularly for my big toes. I could see that after only a short wearing time I would be in real pain from this.

Minnetonka moccasins of same style and same size differ greatly! This pair was large but the other pair ordered was enormous! Frustrating!

The suede is too rough. It basically sanded the tops of my toes and left the bottom of my feet hurting. This is after about two weeks of wearing. I thought they needed to be broken in, but that isn’t helping. They hurt to wear and that is unfortunate. The pair in the larger size I sent back had very soft suede that felt really nice. I can’t even wear these.

These shoes are super comfortable, but I gave a low score because it's just way too difficult to get them to fit right. I have worn these moccasins for years, and there has always been a bit of a sizing issue. But as of late, the sizing is getting worse. I am normally an 8.5 (sometimes a 9). Years ago, I used to be an 8.5 in these. Then, I felt they started running larger so I started ordering them in an 8. I would always get different colors, but then they would be inconsistent; so for example, the 8 in the black would be super snug and I'd send it back and the 8 in the navy would be fine. Recently, I ordered 2 pairs again in a size 8 to replace my old ones; they were flying off of my feet! I sent them both back and ordered them in a 7.5 instead, one was fine and was huge! This is not Zappos fault, this is Minnetonka's issue. I know the shoes are hand made so there will be some variance but the sizing has never been this inconsistent. Too much back and forth and aggravation for shoes. I contacted Minnetonka to ask about this and the associate was very rude to me. I'm done with Minnetonka, there are other comfortable moccasins out there. I am just grateful that Zappos has a great return/exchange policy and kind, professional associates!

I usually wear a size 7.5 shoe. These were huge. I will be ordering a size 7, maybe a 6.5 for a better fit.

This shoe was intended to be a slipper but it comes without any shape for a foot. It's long and skinny. My foot could not get into it without stretching it or rearranging the laces, which I didn't want to do. I will resume my search but I was hopeful that I could find a pair at Zappos.

I ordered 2 sizes. One size was too small, very tight on the toes. Only 1/2 size up and the shoe was too big. Way too big. Quality control of sizing has gone down so much in the past years. They are still cute and the footbed comfortable. I wish they would put some energy into caring about correct sizing.

I have no idea what is wrong with the sizing on these shoes. I have another pair from last year's line that are a size 7.5 that fit perfectly. I originally ordered a 7.5 this year they were huge. I returned and ordered a 7 they are still way too big. The width is way bigger than in the past. I'm really sad because I love my old shoes.

Not thrilled with this shoe. Uncomfortable, the insert has a cut line at the instep. Laces won't stay tied. Unfortunately it took me wearing them a couple days to find this out so I'm stuck with them.

Order these excited to see that they came in wide. When I received them they were ANYTHING BUT WIDE!! Very narrow despite being labeled wide.

These are different than the other kilty's I have with the feather on the toe. Fit is very different. Larger & nowhere near as comfortable. Sending back.

Do not purchase this product. The dye rubs off on your feet and you have bright red feet until your next shower. I have worn twice with the same effect. Returned as defective. You don't need the chemicals they used to dye the shoes leeching into your body!

I ordered these thinking that they'd be comfortable during pregnancy since the materials should give a little bit as my feet potentially expand. I wore these for one work day, and I now have serious pain in the ball of my left foot - as if I've been bruised down to the bone. There is very little between your foot at the hard plastic bottom of the shoe. They also cut into the tops of my feet. I have leather Minnetonka mocs that I adore - in the exact same size and width - so I feel like it's just an issue with this style. I'm really disappointed and wish I would've spent the money on a different pair. Total waste of money for me.

After wearing them only 4 times the leather broke in two places making the shoes unwearable. This was the second pair of these shoes I purchased because I love them. The leather broke up at the toe box creating a giant hole at the seam, and after the lace came untied (the one thing I don't like about these shoes) when I went to retie, the lace snapped off. It was a terribly made pair of shoes this round, perhaps a bad piece of leather was used to make this, but because I don't have original packaging I am stuck with a pair of shoes that broke after only 4 uses in less than a month. I'm super disappointed. I'm a huge fan of Minnetonkas and Zappos but I feel I've been ripped off here since I have no recourse without the original packaging. A huge bummer. Beware and don't throw your packaging out in case this happens to you.

So classy & elegant! The suede material is durable and well made. Excellent craftsmanship, but runs about 1-1 1/2 size larger, the width is way too wide. I wear a 9-9 1/2 M or sometimes N. I ordered a 9 & it was super huge & so wide. I returned, but hesitant to order a size 8. Very impressive, but sizing is not true to size at all. Thanks Zappos for your great return policy, love your customer service!

These moccasins are cute and comfortable, but the workmanship is terrible. The stitching has ripped and created a hole in not one, but two different pairs of these. I've had Minnetonka moccasins before and this is the only style I've had a problem with.

I have a very wide foot and its really hard for me to find cute wide shoes, when I saw these came in WIDE I was so excited! But, to my disappointment I could not fit my foot into this moc, obviously this is not a WIDE shoe, more like a regular width. Very disappointed and had to return them.

The black color from the moccasin comes off on my feet after 10 minutes of wearing it. The black color does not appear to be color-fast. this moccasin also fits much tighter and smaller than two other pairs in different colors fit from the same order.

Very disappointed. I ordered a wide width shoe. This is a narrow width shoe despite what the label says. Back they go.

I got this shoe for Christmas, wore it a few times, and while walking, the top of the shoe ripped off. I am shocked by the short life of these shoes.

Way too narrow, even the "wide" are narrow and pointy! I tried two different pairs, regular 6.5 and wide 6. I usually wear 7 and the 6 length fit but they are still too narrow...the 6.5 regular were narrow and big. Very uncomfortable narrow pointy shoes...moccasins are not supposed to be like this!
