These are really lovely boots. No toe spring, all black is very slick looking, lacing hooks make lacing a breeze, the side zip makes it easier to get in and out. Without the zip I think it would be a challenge. Nice aggressive lug sole. The pairs that I received suffered from the same manufacturing flaw. The composite toe is not flush with the inside of the boot. So you feel a very prominent ridge where the composite toe begins. It is not subtle. That is why I am returning. Hopefully New balance can manage their quality control better in the future. I would like to try these again if they're able to make the composite toe flush with the inside of the boot.

Went with New Balance because of previous experience with them. I need extra-wide, 4E, and these just didn’t fit right. There was a slight pinch on both sides of my feet while wearing them.

I have been in the construction field 30 plus years. These are no doubt the most comfortable boot on my feet and for my back.i don't switch to crocs to drive anymore. I also do not dred the stairs as much.

I have a wide foot. While many boots are wide in the middle, the toes end up suffering. These are great and roomy for my toes. I love the zipper on the side and they provide enough support for my feet.

Bought these after having severe foot pain in both Redwing and Thorogood boots. I work construction and am on my feet all day, these boots from day 1 were very comfortable and I had no foot pain. They are a little stiff at first but break in quickly. Can't beat them for the price, I can't speak to their long term durability, but I love them at the time of pf writing this. Definitely worth a try over conventional work boots.

Spot on. True 4E boots. I wear a size 11.5 4E. I bought a size 12 4E cause they were out of my size. These are true to size. The ones I bought are a half size too big… go figure ?

After having problems with multiple other boot brands, I was thrilled to get a pair of New Balance boots. They're so comfortable and supportive, and I'll only be wearing New Balance boots going forward.

was worried about getting a half size up shoe and I had never worn a zip up shoe either. the laces are OK. they have stayed tied other than when i forgot they had zippers to take them off :) after getting the fit correct with the laces, they go on and come off pretty easy and i don't feel my feet sliding in them that usually happen with oversized shoes or not tight enough lacing. I also need custom orthotics for my flat feet. I had no issues with the shoes before getting them, so i feel they are good there as well.

It was a true pleasure to put these boots on. My feet are wide, so the fit is the top priority. When I slipped these on, it was perfect for me. I have pretty much settled on New Balance as my go to shoe. When I saw these with the New Balance brand, I decided it was worth the risk and oh boy was it! I am relieved that I will not have to try to figure out what other boot brand I can count on. I sure hope they hold up as well as they fit.
