These shoes were with me through 16 hours of travel, that including my 10-minute sprint to my connection flight at the London Heathrow Airport. Great grip on these! They are definitely nonslip. I also used them for rocky terrain at some of Mallorca's beautiful rock beaches and these bad boys held their own. The shoe goes with almost every outfit, and I got so many compliments on them! The minor cons were, breaking them in was a bit painful got one blister, but nothing severe or unbearable. Nothing a band aid can't fix! It could have also been because all you do is walk in Europe. The shoe is a little heavier and stiff but once you break them in, they slide on and off like a glove. They do crease and stain from water because of the leather, BUT it gives it that nice, rugged boat shoe look., I did not mind that at all. That red leather is something else! My only major con was the shoelaces. I am in the military and like my shoes laced up tight. While i was tying my shoe to get a good nice and tight fit, the shoelace completely ripped. I don't know where to get the replacement shoelace, but I did end up improvising and having enough string for a tiny bow knot. That was also the foot I got a blister on because the back of the shoe was not tight enough and slid up and down. I don't notice the issue anymore for the most part and worst-case scenario I gotta wear a Band-Aid. At the end of the day it is a great shoe, good quality leather, and you definitely get some nods of approval walking around the city. The price is worth the quality of the shoe itself, unfortunately, the shoelaces did not meet my desired lace life (1 week), BUT I would definitely buy again, I would just be more gentle with the laces. A really good looking shoe. #SWEEPSTAKES

I am going to buy two other pairs. They are so comfortable and pairs with almost anything! An even better casual shoe. It looks exactly like pictured. I am very happy with my purchase! Thanks Timberland!!

I wore them to school (my campus has a lot of walking and some hills that leave you out of breath) and I have no complaints!
I'm a 7 when it comes to sandals, but whenever I get running shoes/sneakers I like to get a 7.5 so my toes have room to move around.
Buy them based on the LENGTH of your foot, not the width, as they will mold to your foot's shape.

These shoes are so comfortable, I can wear them all day. They fit true to size and even though they look narrow my wide foot fits great! I'd definitely buy them again!

Boat shoes are trending but being petite I like some height in my shoes. They are already on heavy rotation and I get compliments when I wear them. They are true to size and comfortable. I highly recommend. "#SWEEPSTAKES"

I am so in love with these shoes. I read all of the reviews and almost down sized mostly because the color I wanted (taupe) was not available in my size. I happened to look on the site again (the next day) and the 10 was available (thank you to who ever must have returned them). The 0 fit me perfect! I tried on with a thin pair of socks I also purchased on the site. I have no issues with slipping I just tied the laces tight. I ordered the Root Beer also I can't wait for them to arrive.

I love these shoes. They are both stylish and timeless. I read other reviews that suggested sizing down. I sized down a half size. My toe is right at the edge of the shoe but I think my heel would slide up in my usual size.

I Love these shoes! They're so comfortable, I thought they might be a bit clunky but they're not at all.
I normally wear an 8 and did get an 8, I have not had any issues with them slipping off at all, I have not worn them with super thin socks though.

These are beautiful all around well made and comfy!
Am a size 7.5 sometimes 8. And I ordered 6.5
***for the folks that have heel slippage***
The key to proper fit is to order 1 full size down
The shoe out the box should feel SNUG and almost feel like a suction to your bare feet.
It should feel
Similar to wearing socks , snug, not tight but def not loose.
The more you wear them the more the leather will give and mold to your feet and get more comfortable.
Lifetime classics

Amazingly cute but heavy. Size down a half size or full size because they run big and stretch.

They're really comfy and keep your feet cool even without socks. The insole feels almost springy? I liked that a lot. The thing I didn't love is that because of the thickness of the platform sole, they're kind of heavy. Not as heavy as combat boots but you'll feel these in your calves after a long day.

I was gifted these shoes and I did not expect these shoes to be of such high quality but wow! They're slightly on the heavier side but not too bad. Amazing quality! Love them!

This issue is so cute and fashionable!! I love the style and how chucky they are. These run large so I suggest a half size down. I am normally a 7 1/2 and I got a size 7. I still had to add heel grips to stick in the inside to help my heel from lifting out of the shoe when walking. I have noticed this is kind of the case with a lot of loafer style shoes, where they are snug in the front, but you still walk out of the heel in the back.

I think these shoes are good and have good sole support. I will say I got my regular size and they fit kind snug at first. But once I started wearing them more they loosened up. But I think if I sized up they will be too large.

I got these in the rust color when they still had them. Listening to other reviews I think I got them a half size larger, that was a mistake. They fit alright, they do slip off the heel a lot but I guess you get used to it. I ALWAYS get compliments on these shoes, they are super stylish. I want another pair in a different color, this time I'll get my actual size and see how they fit.
