Columbia model pictures are deceiving in regards to the product fit. I ordered one in each color and I'm very disappointed that I can no longer trust the pictures on this website. I always wear a Medium in bottoms no matter the brand but these fit me huge like a Large or bigger and these are supposed to be the body skimming active fit. This past week I came across a pair of expensive shorts I purchased from another brand years ago and I was surprised at the difference in size when I laid them on top of the other. When I laid the Columbia short on top of the other brand same size I couldn't see them. When I laid the other brand shorts on top of these Columbia shorts I just couldn't believe it. I returned two coats and two vests this past winter because they were too big. Either Columbia has a sizing problem or they target demographic are getting even more obese. I don't think I've ever left a review on this website and if I did it must have been over 10 years ago. I returned to order them in a size Small because I like the salmon color. I think I'm going to have to accept that this brand's sizing is deceptive and generous to put it nicely. One thing for sure is they don't fit like the guy's on the pictures.

Just bought the shark and tan color. Great shorts for very hot Florida summer weather. Very comfortable for all day wear. My wife loves the new look, without any side cargo pockets. Columbia please add a lot more color options as soon as possible.

Had to return - no liner. I wish Zappos had added info about presence or absence of a liner to the description. Seems essential in this case.
