I had an operation 7 months ago to shorten my 2nd metatarsal and repair the joint with screws, have arthritis in my big toe and plantar fasciitis in both feet so I know the importance of comfortable, supportive footwear! These provide perfect arch support, a wide toe box, a cushioned heel and just feel like I am walking on air. I tried on countless different styles and brands before finding these but am so delighted that I've bought another pair to put aside (just in case they stop making these!). I'm a size 6 in Clark's shoes and these were also perfect in a size 6.

The arch support is partly under the heel and is not as cushiony as I expected.

The shop assistant recommended this style for my needs - I was looking for something that could be supportive for my back, comfortable and durable to wear at work, where I need to stand and walk all day long. I was very happy as soon as I started wearing these, even the pain in my toes was gone, and they were indeed very comfortable. However, in a few weeks, the foam cushion at the back of the heels started to come off - I bought the shoes on 22/09, and the problems started mid-November! Now it's hurting my feet and is no longer comfortable to wear for long hours; my feet get very tired. Although I work long hours, I only do part-time, so I'd expect the shoes to last way longer! I won't be buying this brand again; the quality is very poor.
