Vans quality has dropped significantly in the past couple years and these are definitely not an exception. The comfy cush is super helpful for being on your feet all day they fit me well for the most part, but the seams on these just crumble. I don't even have wide feet and the seam where the rubber toe meets the mesh (where your pinky toe sits) wears out every time with a huge hole. These only lasted me about 6 months with is super unfortunate considering how expensive they are

I purchased these shoes because I'm on my feet all day as a hairstylist and I love Vans but needed something more comfortable. While the shoes are comfortable for my feet, I had read reviews online that people were getting holes very quickly in the cloth part near the toes. I decided against my better judgment to purchase these shoes anyway and now I've had them only two months and there's already a noticeable hole forming by my pinky toe on the right shoe and a small one by the pinky toe on the left shoe. The rubber at the tip of toe is also pulling away. The material is too thin. I don't wear these shoes every day as I have multiple other pairs so I don't think extensive wear is to blame. I would recommend saving the money on these and choosing a different shoe, unfortunately.

Been wearing for a couple of weeks. they're comfortable but the plastic in the front bends and makes a weird popping sound every step :(

First of all I had to exchange these due being sent, yet another defective pair of shoes from vans.com (3 orders in a row). Once I received a pair that were good, I had to add an insert seeing they have basically zero arch support. I was hoping they had a better inner sole, but they did not. Now that they have arch support with my insert, they are great. They do seem a little over priced for what you get.

Wore these during a visit to a theme park and they absolutely destroyed my feet. A lot of walking and standing (around 10 miles a day) and my feet were obliterated by the end of each day. I felt like I was walking on bricks. I switched to my Sk8 high tops with comfy-cush and they were much more comfortable. I have average feet with a low to mid arch and also get some lace bite with these even when they are tied loose around the top of the foot. At least they look nice and are super light. Good for a gym workout or light training. Anything more than that, go with another option.

I didn't like the material on the top of the foot. I prefer the suede. But the color is beautiful.

It's very plastic. The canvas version of this shoe is way better. The blue is very dark and not appealing.

These shoes are very comfortable to wear to work in nice weather but definitely do not recommend in wet weather, they are the most slippery shoes I've ever worn and I slipped and fell once and almost slipped and fell again multiple times throughout the day.

I love these shoes, the way they look and how they feel. The only issue is that I've had these shoes since December and there's already a hole in one and the other shoe is separating from the sole of the shoe.

Why don't you make ultra range in wide and extra wide like you do the other shoes in wide? To tight in the toe box,

The shoe color and style is great, however the comfort isn't the best. I wear size 12 and bought a 12, but my feet feel crowded in them. I have other pairs of vans that fit just fine, but these make my feet feel like they are too wide and an exact fit for the length of my foot. I've been hoping that breaking them in will make my feet feel better, but I am not feeling so optimistic after wearing them a few days. My recommendation is to buy a half size larger. Mine are already worn, so I'll wear them for fashion only. My recommendation to Vans is to make a pair for mid to wide feet because these felt a tad narrow.

They are nice shoes but they are not nearly as durable as Old School or Authentic. They have a thin flexible material instead of the canvas and suede that Vans normally uses. The soles are made of a light foam instead of rubber. They are very comfortable but not durable. After 3 months of heavy use, the foam is pretty crushed and they have small holes in the canvas. They are still good shoes but I would buy different Vans over these.

As a long time Vans enthusiast, and owner of 20+ pairs, I was excited to finally try out the ultra range. While it is not a bad shoe, it's not great either. It's marginally more cushy than a pair of old skools, with a diminished cool factor. I was disappointed, but I have a higher standard for Vans

The shoes are painful to break in! I wore so many times and yet they still hurt. I took them to Disney and my foot was bleeding at the end of the day. I bought them again after a couple years because I thought maybe I didn't break them in enough. Nope!!

I bought a pair of these in July 2024. After only a few weeks of wear I noticed the side logos falling off the shoe. I returned them and at the suggestion of the cashier got another pair thinking they may have been faulty. The same thing has started to happen to this pair after a couple months of use. I had bought this model back in 2018 and they were one of the best pair of shoes I'd ever owned. The quality seems to have changed a lot since then. I won't be buying these again unless Vans addresses this issue in quality and may switch to another brand altogether after years.

I love vans pretty much the only shoes I wear. These were comfortable to me, but the shoe doesn't last. Less than 6 months old and they're falling apart. They look 3 years old already

Shoes look and feel great, soles have to be the cushiest I've ever seen on a pair of vans. For whatever reason the left shoe crease around the end of the tongue/laces were absolutely killer though, left the "knuckles" of my toes bruised after just a day at work wearing them. Super painful to walk around in let alone drive in, unfortunately had to send them back. Right shoe was fine!

I bought these to replace my previous, meshier version. 1> footbed is less cushy than before, 2> new reinforcement=less mesh=warmer feet=stiffer shoe.

Purchased these shoes about 2 months ago, initially loved how they look and feel when wearing them. Sadly, a hole has already shown up between the toe material and the fabric on the front of the shoe. I have only been wearing these to a typical desk job a few times a week, so I was really sad to see that they aren't holding up to even light use.

The glue doesn't hold and the sole starts to come off. I used it daily in the office. Been through 2 pairs in less than year and a half.

These are super comfortable and I really like the look, but I've bought two pairs and both developed holes near the pinky toe within a few months of light use. I really wish they were more durable.

The shoe is so narrow that my toes barely fit in the shoe. I am not sure if the pair I received were made wrong, but I am so disappointed they don't come in a wide, which I do not ever wear but would have tried.

They're very mushy very light, but for being a size 10 they're a little snug for a size 10 in women's vans. I was a little disappointed, how narrow they are.

I love the look of these shoes however once I put them on I couldn't stand it. They are very light and are mesh along the sides basically no structure. My main complaint is the toe box is covered in rubber, which is hard to notice in the online photos, but feels super weird and makes a rubber sound when your foot bends with each step. If the toe box was covered in the mesh that the rest of the shoe is made with I would've kept them.
