More comfortable than the old arakys (a similar folding heel), and perform well as a approach shoe. Carries well on a harness or stuffs into a bag. For comedy purpose, my partner managed to scale the Beckey route on Liberty bell in them. So, they do also climb OK. She's put a small holes in the side after a season of use, but most likely used these outside of their recommended environment.. Mine are holding up well.

I struggle with plantar fasciitis, and these are the only shoes I own that dont aggravate it after standing for a long time. Theyre incredibly comfortable, even on long cragging days and extended approaches, and I havent experienced any foot pain. While they can feel a bit chunky (they run slightly wide), the comfort more than makes up for it. I appreciate the bar tack/loop in the back, which makes it easy to clip them away when switching to climbing shoes. A quick tip: definitely wear them with socksotherwise, they can get a little sweaty and prone to odor if not washed frequently. After putting them through the wringer, one loop is starting to tear, but theyve held up well overall. I just wish I had them in every color!

The best recovery shoe. After 3 days straight of running 8+ plus miles these shoes allowed me to walk comfortably with out any pain or soreness in my legs. Compared to normal shoes where I could feel every aching muscle in my legs.

I bought these for every day wear and hiking / getting outside. Theyre breathable and also sturdy. The front of shoe is protected well with the rubber toe design. Also look very sleek and wash off well. Havent looked back since this purchase, love wearing them, they are extremely comfortable too on the inside. Its like walking on clouds all day.

So it lake season - they look like a modern pair of water socks. That is unfortunately the exact comment I recieved when I wore them to a friends house a few minutes after arrival. Beyond that they are comfortable and easy to slip on. Maybe need to lean into the modern look a little more heavily to escape the water socks design aesthetic. Would have returned them based on design but my dog ate the box. Now they are a fast pair of slip ins. Wish they were a little more avant garde to make them worthy of everyday wear since they are very comfortable.

Bought these for my wife in the black/black color and she loved them from the get go. She said theyre very comfortable and she uses them for climbing and as a casual shoe. She loves them so much , she bought a second pair in white.

Purchased this shoe early April, and used in normal urban / commuter use. Five stars for comfort, but no stars for durability. The heel loops are disintegrating, so either it is a design or material issue. In any case, if you're using these shoes, be careful with the heel loops as they tear off easily. Have submitted a repair request, hoping for a positive outcome as this was an expensive purchase and I've been a loyal Arc gear user for well over a decade.

It took me a bit to get used to the silhouette of the Kragg, but once I did, it became one of my go-to's in both bouldering and casual situations. I find it extremely comfortable with the super soft and squishy insolealmost too comfortable, hence the title. The Vibram sole gives you plenty of traction for the situations it was built to endure, which is a chill-ish approach to a crag with casual on/off abilities, but I find the build of the entire shoe too soft for an approach with too steep of a grade (especially on downhills) or in a situation where a heavier load is being carried - stick with a konseal for those times and don't judge the Kragg for not being built for 'em. The hybrid heel is amazing and something I've hoped for from the brand, however I will say that if you have a wide forefoot, it doesn't love to stay put until its extremely broken in - they'll kind of creep forward ever so slightly and you'll have to readjust. Nitpicking aside, the designers pretty much nailed this one and highly recommend picking up a pair if you can find them in stock!

Been a great addition to my bouldering season in Squamish this year. I aways dread taking my shoes on and off for every boulder so having a slip on for bouldering days has made life a lot easier and more enjoyable. The thick insole makes them so comfy for running around the forest and the toe rubber makes scrambling/climbing in the shoe not a problem as well.

Not the quality I am used to from Arcteryx. After 3 days of wear at a climbing trip, using the shoe at the crag as it was intended for, the pull tabs have already created holes in the material of the heel. Not worth the high price. Getting things sorted out with customer service, I would rather have a refund.. would definitely not buy again.

Really loving the Kragg. It's the perfect shoe post-run, between pitches at the crag, or just relaxing at home. Super comfortable and I've pretty much lived in these since I got them.

I have narrow feet so these were too wide for me. The insole is very cushy. I use custom orthotics. When I took the insole out to replace it, I found that there is NO padding on the bottom of the shoe without the included insole.

Great looking shoes and comfortable, but the outer fabric where it bends ripped with less than 5 months of light use. Disappointed in the quality.

I love the comfort and versatility of my black Arc'teryx shoes, but after just a month of light use, both tore on the sides. They now look too worn for work or other settings, which is disappointing for such an expensive product.

I loved, loved, loved these shoes. Loved both the design and comfort, however after a few months the back pull tabs have separated from the shoe and holes are forming on the tops where the fabric meets the rubber. So disappointed

Really tried to convince myself these were perfect... The comfort and function was there, but the pull tabs rip the stretchy heel fabric and create holes and the soles squeak when you walk. It looks like other users are experiencing the same problems, so I'm disappointed these issues weren't caught and fixed during product development and testing.

I own a large collection of Arc'teryx shoes, but my last purchase was a big mistake. the white color gets dusty very quickly and they no longer stay white. I'm really disappointed because cleaning them doesn't help. It's a shame, as they're incredibly comfortable and provide great support, but please, don't buy white ones don't make the same mistake I did.

I am giving this shoe one star because the way it's designed guarantees a built-in obsolescence. While you walk, the rubber will crease and tear your fabric inevitably. I own mine for about four months before they became misshapen and ripped. Warranty will not cover. For such a wildly expensive and well respected brand, they did not put nearly enough research into these shoes. Surely a shoe can last longer than four months.

Kragg Shoe looks really nice. The sleek, urban and modern design won me over. I had been skeptical of many shoe companies making these fabric-top shoes. I didn't trust they would last. But Arc'teryx to me have always meant really durable products I can wear for a decade or more. Vibram also means a super durable and resilient sole. So I went for it and bought a pair. Unfortunately, the promise is no more. I've had these Kragg Shoes for just ten months, five of which the shoes were stored away because it was Winter, and now after a few months, wearing them for walking and mostly indoors, the fabric has torn. Looks like other customers have had the same issue where the shoe bends at the toe joint. Wholly disappointed at Arc'teryx for making an inferior product. Please update and improve back to the dependable Arc'teryx quality standards.

The fabric at the crease where it meets the outer rubber develops holes after a few months of light, mostly indoor use. It seems to be a design issue as other reviewers have noted it in the exact same place too. It's a shame because the shoe is exceptionally comfortable, packs down small for travel, and the slip on feature is really nicely done. I filed a warranty request claim a month ago and never heard back. Arcteryx customer support is not as good as it used to be.
