I don't really know if these shoes were true to size because I essentially couldn't even get them on. The elastic ankle material without any pull straps at the heel or tongue meant struggling for a substantial period of time trying to get them on, then searching for a shoe horn, then trying again... sorry, but not worth the hassle. Returning them without ever even getting the left one on my foot.

Really unstable shoes for any technical trail running, there's too much rocker. It's not a functional shoe for the type of terrain in Pacific Northwest.
Would not recommend unless you want to slip while ascending, roll your ankle, or fall to avoid ankle injuries while descending. LD3 worked great in comparison.
They are fine for running on flats.
