I was so excited when I pulled this shoe out of the box--it's beautiful. Well constructed, the leather looks substantial and the medium brown is a gorgeous color with subtle shading. Felt like I was back in the 70s, getting my favorite loafers to start the school year. Unfortunately, like all loafers it seems, there's stitching inside the upper where the vamp attaches to the shoe, and it really irritates my bunions. I've tried various solutions over the years, including sanding the stitching, adding moleskin, trying to stretch the shoes--all to no avail. So I am very, very reluctantly sending this back. There's probably no fix for it and I should give up trying to wear loafers. But if that's not your issue, these will look absolutely fabulous with jeans, pants, even skirts, for fall.

The leather was stiff, especially in one shoe and had no "give".

The length was fine but the width is very tight

I wear a 10N and these were a 10M so I thought I would add support to fit my foot. What I found was very odd. the shoe was too narrow just at the little toe area but huge in the heel. I've worn Easy Spirit many times before but find their quality just isn't what it used to be. Back they go...

Liked the look of the shoe but toe box was still too narrow even with wide width.

Terroble quality. We're comfortable only for a day. The footbed went completely flat after one wear.

The shoes are a full size too big for me, I love them once I have found the pair that fits (after two returns). They are well-constructed, supportive and comfortable.

It’s a really nice brown loafer. I’ve worn it with my scrubs to work as a nurse when I couldn’t find regular works. I think they work well with trousers too. I have a super wide forefoot, but Nero heel in my heel does not slip in the shoe

I was so disappointed when I received the second pair of loafers because in the delivery process my shoe order was exchanged for a unknown item that had nothing to do with shoes. I still don't know what it was. When I called Zappos they were excellent in their response in sending me a replacement. I do not feel that Zappos made the mistake I feel that it was in the delivery process. Thank you again Zappos, you have a customer for life.

I really love this shoe - the color, style and support, but it is just too big overall. I have previously tried on a size 5 (too small) and size 6.5 (too big) , both regular width (on the narrow side for me in the toes), in this shoe in a store, and in most shoes I wear a 6, so I thought a 6 wide would be perfect for me. But this is just a bit too big in all directions for me, with or without socks, and my heel slips when I try to walk in them. I think I need a 5.5, but it looks like those are not available.

I found the shoe very attractive, but after wearing around my home, it felt too large.

My feet are a bit sensitive due to neuropathy and I won't be able to make them to make comfortables.

The 7 felt true to size, but was narrow. The arch support was very satisfactory. The leather seems "hard" and not pliable . Prefer a softer leather.

Nice looking shoe, but much too large at the heel. Not sure about trying a half size smaller.

Nice option for spring. I took them on a trip to DC, and walked 18,000+ steps on their first outing. I think they are a bit big, but not a complete half-size. Because I’m wearing them in situations (travel), where my feet will get tired and maybe a bit swollen due to an old injury, the extra space isn’t a concern for me. I wore a thin “footie” sock (Smartwool). Little bit of a side-to-side gap when walking, but not extreme. Perhaps consider ordering your normal size plus a half-size down to see what you like the best.
