Runs large. No padding - and not enough arch support. I found these uncomfortable to walk in, because they are so hard under the foot. Sadly, I must return them.

I had the version without the strap and had a size 43, love the shoes but they were a little too big. Got this version in a size 42 and they fit perfectly, by the way I usually wear a size 12. Have been a buyer of Birkenstock shoes for years and will continue to wear them.

The shoes themselves are lovely, I have Birkenstock sandals and I love them however they fit larger than I expected and they are much heavier than I prefer.

I own several pair of Birkenstock, original footbed. If you're a fan of Arizona and Boston styles you should love this. They're actually a more snug fit than the Boston across the top of the foot. I purchased these in black and absolutely love the color, and I have my eye on the olive green!

I get a lot of compliments on them, so i guess they look nice. The sole is falling apart after 3 months of use (8 hours a day, 5 days a week).

Not as great as I was hoping. The insoles have worn down at my pressure points (heels and balls of feet) within 5 months of daily use at work. The outer sole started crumbling within a few days of use.
