I have an older one in black that I wear absolutely every day. It looks brand new even though it is well worn. Soft, comfortable and attractive. Another great thing specifically is the color . Many v-necks are way too big and this v-neck is the perfect size . I prefer my clothes not to be skin tight and this one is just perfect. It is also high quality. I have many other wool garments and they tend to get tiny holes in them over time. My SmartWool clothes are all intact years later.

Bought this top in black and cream specifically for my three week travels in Europe. Love the way they don't hold a smell and dry easy after a wash. The fit is perfect, not too long.

Love the fabric on this. It did shrink ever so slightly in the wash, but not enough to be a problem. Really soft! I'm 5'4 150 athletic build and got a medium - fits great, but could size up if you like it oversized.

Nice shirt. Super soft and v neck is the perfect depth. My only comment is I would prefer the sleeve length slightly longer.

I have this top in black and light blue. I would love to see more colors that are flattering for fair skinned people. The V-neck and length are perfect and I like the weight of it. I don't find it too warm and it is much more flattering to lumps and bumps than the ultralight version.

Can wear in slightly cooler climates. Really softened after w cold wash.

Perfect feel of a shirt to wear dressed up or everyday .. this color is my go too for travel ..NO wrinkles or smell ... I do not feel temperature changes when wearing it .. no chills or feeling sweaty

Easy to wash, keeps you cool as it absorbs moisture. Can dress up or dress down. Very versatile.

This is a good shirt for hiking, biking, and even walking my dog when I don't want to stay sweaty. The fit is comfortable, although I would prefer it a little longer for cycling.

I am wearing this shirt today, for the first time, and I love it. It's soft and light and perfect under the sweater I am wearing. My classroom is chilly and this gives the perfect light layer I need on my back. I know I will wear it throughout the winter, during inside and outside activities. I am already on planning to buy more!

Great T Shirt for travel and everyday use. The shirt has some cotton added to the wool and is thicker than the straight wool shirts. I wore the shirt for several days and it does not hold odors. No shrinkage noted with machine washing and drying on low. I like the feel and look of the material. (I have not tested this shirt in the tropics.) The length is perfect like the picture. My suggestion is Smartwool list all shirt lengths on their website.

I was looking for something for my trip to Peru that would be fast drying and less stinky than my other polyester T's. This certainly fits the bill. Soft against my skin, lightweight and keeps me cool while hiking. Perfect tech gear that will work for me as I travel the world!
