I’m a true size 7 in most shoes with a slightly narrow foot. I was hoping this would be narrower than a normal Birkenstock, but I didn’t notice a difference. Even with the buckles fully tightened my foot slides out with each step. Otherwise the shoes are very cute and a little more feminine than the classic style.

I am disappointed. I have other Papillios in 39 that fit perfectly -- these feel big and way too wide, even though marked "narrow fit." The look is clunkier that I expected too. Unfortunately need to return them.

I don't know what has happened, I have worn Birkenstocks for many years, but the past 4 purchases - the shoes have been extremely uncomfortable - the outer side is pressing in areas that my old birks do not, and never did. Bummer, because I really used to like birkenstock, but I'm reluctant to purchase any more.

Disappointed. I was so sure these would be my go-to sandals for the summer. I usually do okay with the Narrow/ Medium fit. Unfortunately, these Almina slip-on were slightly too wide for my feet. Tightening the strap didn't help since it was already on the second to last hole. The length was true to size. It seems that many sure manufacturers are using wider or unisex shoe lasts...making finding shoes that fit that much harder for folks with narrow or medium/ narrow feet. :-(

The straps hit in a bad place across the top of my foot and the toes. I would have had blisters in no time. Despite adjustments of the straps sadly they still needed to be returned

Birkenstock's narrow size fits narrow-medium. Their regular fits medium-wide. I thought these were so cute, but after wearing them around the house, my Achilles tendons in both feet began to hurt. There are three reasons for this: a) the sole is heavy, b) the straps don't come far enough back on your foot, so the shoe flaps too much and there's too much weight on your ankle/heel when walking, and c) there's no ankle strap to help you lift the back of the shoe when you walk. I appreciate that Birkenstock is branching out in their shoes, but WHY can't they make them as comfortable as their classic sandals?? Birkenstock is one of the only brands that actually has foot-shaped shoes that allow you to keep your toes straight, which is why I wear them (not for the style), and these shoes were super comfortable to stand in -- just not to walk in.

This is a cute shoe, but if you wear a medium/narrow Birkenstock then beware - this shoe is MUCH wider than typical Birkenstocks in the medium/narrow width. I tightened the one strap that could be adjusted all the way, and it was still too narrow. Even if it felt tight, the top strap would still have been miles too wide. I have not purchased anything from the Papillio line before, so don't know if it is an issue with all that line, but would be extremely hesitant to order any and risk it.

This is a cute and comfy shoe. It’s definitely not for narrow feet. Even adjusting the buckle, it was still too wide. The front strap can’t be adjusted and is also too wide. I purchased the narrow option.

I’m going to return these. The leather is way too stiff!

This sandal fit like a whole size larger. I usually wear between a 5 & 5.5, so of course I ordered this 5-5.5 sandal, but this fit more like a 6.5. Returning…Btw, after trying to post a photo, I got an error messages saying it wasn’t able to upload the photo, so…?????
