Super breathable and warm. Great base layer for high aerobic activities, summer or winter.

Nice way to keep yourself warm during travel and give yourself a little privacy when sleeping in planes. My husband got this one and he loves it.

Great shirt for workouts or just daily as a base layer. Very similar build/materials to their mountain bike jersey (which has become my go-to jersey for gravel/MTB bike rides).

Wear inside for warm throughout the day. Continue to wear outside while walking for layered warmth.

I have used the mesh hoodie for mountain biking, hiking, skiing, cool nights while backpacking and it has yet to disappoint. It's super comfortable and works great as a base, mid or outer layer. One of my new favorite shirts for staying comfortable while being active no matter the season.

Really comfortable fit, not too tight. Plan on using it for backpacking. The back of the shirt offers more ventilation.

Great fit and amazing quality. I wear it a lot as a sun hoodie. So soft and lightweight I feel like I'm wearing nothing. Also, the fabric doesn't stick to the skin when moist unlike other brands I tried. Bought the blue and the green one. Looks better in real life than on the website photos.

I actually got this shirt in error, I normally have the hoodie that does not include the mesh. I have found it to be a very comfortable and lighter weight shirt for summer in Alaska. It is very comfortable and the fabric feels nice.

This is a versatile hoodie that can be worn in various seasons but especially good in summer months as sun protection while still being very breathable & having a comfortable high neck. The hood itself needs to worn with a cap for best fit -the sizing is on the loose side which is my preference-arm length is a bit long but can be folded over-better longer then too short. Overall a worthy addition to my much loved Smart Wool clothing (socks ,tank tops & short sleeve shirts)-appreciate the overall brand quality & fit.

I use the Active Mesh Hoodie on bikepacking trips and races. It's been excellent in every situation from hot weather to cool and somehow it never smells even after hours of exercise. Thanks Smartwool!
