This top is extremely slim cut and SHORT. I don't have a particularly long torso, but the hoodie still hits at the top of the high waist leggings I hike in. While I'm typically a 0-2 / XS in most tops, I got a S because I like my sun hoodies to fit a bit larger and this one still fits super close despite buying a larger size than normal. So I'd say it definitely runs small. Additionally, mine arrived with the edge of its NF logo on the chest already peeling off a bit!
I'm going to keep it because I got it on a big sale but I won't be buying another. I'll stick with my Outdoor Research Echos and Astroman hoodies for sun protection. This one sadly fits like it was designed for looking good around town but less so for actually being active in, which maybe speaks to NF's priorities

Perfect for running, backpacking, and anything in between. I have several different brands of sun hoodies and this is my favourite purely because of the pony tail opening! I have long hair and hate keeping it inside the hood with my other hoodies or pulling the braids through the front of the hood, the opening is at the perfect height for a ponytail or braid that goes through the hole in the back of a hat. Based on reviews of the shortness of it I got a medium (I'm 5'7"/170cm, 135lbs and usually a small) and it's perfect, sleeves long enough to provide some hand coverage and while it's not long by any means it don't find it's cropped or too short and I have a relatively long torso, hits around the waist below standard pants/shorts (maybe not low rise though). Love it so much I bought a second one, you won't regret this purchase!

I haven't worn this outdoors yet so I can't comment on the sun protection but sizing is definitely small. I'm 5'3" 100lbs and it is form fitting for me over a light tank or T shirt. Sleeves cover my fingers, good sun protection. I got the lime color and it's not neon but a subtle green-yellow, nice to have something different than black or white. Slightly sheer fabric.

love the fabric and the cut. it is a little bit shorter, but I like that. I plan to buy it in more colors. I'll be using it for outdoor activities in florida and southeast asia while traveling

My husband finally talked me into wearing this LIGHTRANGE Summer Hoodie and I wish would've started wearing it sooner. The super lightweight material is great for keeping the sun off my skin which in turn, keeps me cooler. I love wearing it for any outdoor activity and it looks great too for most social settings.

I love how light and breathable this shirt is. I bought it for sun protection in a very hot climate. I am normally a medium and this medium fit as expected. I like that the fit is fitted but is still a little loose and comfortable. I love the cream color.

Wow I'm obsessed with this sun shirt. I bought it in a store so I was able to try it on beforehand and I was BLOWN AWAY. I am 5'2" and fluctuate between S and M sizes. I got the S and it fits my torso perfectly. I like that the sleeves are on the baggier side and cover my hands well. The fabric is perfect for hot desert runs (light and quick dry). I appreciate the ponytail hole in the back too. More cuts like this please!

I love the way this fits me. I never find anything long enough for my arms and shoulders. I also LOVE the length. It fits nicely with high waisted leggings/pants. It goes a little below my waist.

Super lightweight, great summer active top! Fit is slightly cropped which is great, most sunshirts are too long for my shorter torso.

Great quality and material. I would buy another one especially if they offered it in different colors.

The fit and style is perfect for someone who likes being active in the outdoors - pairs nicely with my leggings or shorts. Fabric feels great next to my skin.

I LOVE the ponytail opening!! It's a great feature. I also like that it's not really long and I have a long torso. It was a good fit and true to size. I wore it backpacking and it was nice to have. It snagged easily on somethings and it had some parts discolor in the wash.

Great for sun protection on the trail and light enough to wear on hot days. Concerned though that stitching is coming apart at the sleeves even after 2 wears!

The description doesn't say the UPF protection only lasts 10 washes. I cut off the label that says that so I can't return it. The description makes it sound like the fabric is UPF rated.

The website says it provides UPF protection past 10 washes but the tag says up to 10 washes.

Weird fit. Way too short. Love the light fabric but UPF only lasts a few washes. Hem hit in a strange place on the stomach and made me look lumpy where I am not.

Great fabric and love the details in the design, but a very unflattering cut. Too cropped and clingy at the waist.

Would really like the sleeves longer, barely reaches wrist. How about something to cover the tops of hands.

Could be a great shirt but very short length makes it useless as sun protection. I'm 5'9" with an average torso and it's not long enough to keep my waist covered - left me with a horrible sunburn.

This top is extremely short cut. I do not have a long torso and this is a "belly shirt".
The tag that is stitched in, is made of a stiff plastic and scratches/irritates the sh*t out you. Even cutting the tag out, the little sliver of plastic is still there. Why?!?! Cant wear it.
Not worth the $. Buy sun protective clothing elsewhere. I was also disappointed that I ordered the white one, paid, and 2 days later got an order cancelation notice to say it was out of stock. Went back on, ordered green. Website should be able to handle live inventory in 2024.
