This is my first pair of "super shoes," and I'm thrilled with the ride and performance so far. Lockdown and fit are excellent zero issues or complaints with hot spots or rubbing. The upper is super breathable, and the cushion and propulsion from the plate are exactly what I want in a race day shoe. Look forward to running the Chicago marathon in these.

Great shoe, feel the difference between Metaspeed Edge + and the Paris edition. Lighter and has a more roll to it in your step. True to size as my feet are narrow and these fit nice and snug. The Edge + was a little wider in the toe box.
Put 20 miles breaking them in then used them for LA Marathon 2024 for a PR of 2:59

I can be a bit of a "shuffley" runner, especially late in the marathon distance. I felt that made this "cadence" shoe a good one to try. I am absolutely amazed at how perfect this shoe is for not only comfort and light weight, but also for putting the dip of the plate exACTLY where I land. This shoe is easily the most comfortable and effortless marathon pace I've ever tried. The only thing close to it for me has been the VaporFly 3, which also made my half marathon PB feel easy somehow. Similar plate shape and placement if I understand it correctly, so that makes sense. I just land right where this plate dips down and it encourages my next step and it pops, with little perceived effort. Did a 17 miler the day after a speedy 7-miler, and I felt fresh the entire time. Ever since rehabbing away chronic knee pain early in my running life, and reading Born to Run, and subsequently wearing Vibram Five Fingers for years, my motto has always been "if you have the choice between two long strides or three short ones, take three". That has kept me injury free for years, it's the way I pick up my pace, and it has made me a cadence runner. This is the perfect long distance racer for that kind of runner.

Great super shoe. Very light. Right up there with Nike and Adidas. Placement of plate is perfect for me to propel me along.

These shoes are lovely. I love the look and construction of this shoe, the upper, the foam, the placement of the plate. I had a hard time picking between Edge and Sky, but I tend to increase both cadence and stride length when accelerating so I picked Edge. Just ran an half in these and PR'd. Only issue is the toe box is a little narrow on the lateral side for me. I ordered the same size I wear in the Superblast, which fit me perfectly, and in the Edge, my toes were rubbing a teeny bit and a little raw feeling by the end of the race. No blisters though, and I think half size up would be too big. Going to wear them for my next race next month.

I just ran my second marathon, this time running with the Edge Paris and improved my time by more than an hour. The Edge Paris was stable, supported for me a fast pace, and was easy to cruise in without undue weight. I highly recommend the Edge Paris as a shoe that brings out your best performance.

I wear an 11.5 in novablast 4, nimbus 26, and metaspeed sky+. All fit great.
I ordered 11.5 in these and they are just SLIGHTLY longer in the toe box than the aforementioned shoes in same size. I think an 11 would be too small though; I've got normal / slightly narrow feet as well and the width is just fine.
Overall absolutely love them so far, time will tell.

I love the Novablast. So, I wanted tryout ASICS supershoe. The shoe is alright. I wouldn't use this shoe for a marathon.

Ok, I want to first say i wear only ASICS. I wear a 7.5 women's and they leave ample room in toe box. I ordered a 7.5 women's (6 in men) and my toes hit the shoe. 1.5 sizes smaller than all other ASICS shoes. I am going back to order a size a size 8.5 or even 9.so weird!!

I think this would have been an amazing shoe, but sadly it didn't fit. My usual size was short in the right foot only. When I sized up a 1/2 size it was too long and the top of the toe box was gaping. There was too much extra material/too much volume for my feet. These "unisex" shoes are probably better suited for male feet.

Get a half size up! I've been a size 9 in every Asics shoe I've worn going back to ~2009 (Nimbus, Cumulus, Kayano, Novablast, DS trainer/racer, Magic Speed). These are the first that have not fit me. The foam feels nice & the width is fine. They even felt roomy near the ball of the foot compared to Vaporfly 2s which I usually race in. But the length is just so short compared to all other Asics I've used, with almost no give in the front material. This caused my toes to curl & slam against the front of the toebox while running. I was only able to test them for about 10 miles (hoping they would break-in) before throwing in the towel. Very disappointing after spending this much on them just to be unusable and not returnable. I can't justify getting another pair just to test the size so I'll be sticking with other super shoes for now.
