All the good things about this hat are negated by the lame plastic adjustment system

I needed a new hat as my ON mesh hat had faded and the brim is worn. I use a variety of the arcteryx gear, mainly for skiing but figured I'd try the hat. Functionality wise, it keeps my hair out of my face when running, the mesh provides ventilation, however the bill is much shorter than my previous hat, so it doesn't protect my eyes as much from the sun. This could be mitigated with sunglasses but those tend to slip and slide when I sweat, plus a hat has a bill for a reason. Additionally, maybe that's how normal trucker hats are supposed to be though (I'm not a hat conisseuer). I noticed a comment about the design, giving someone a headache, I experienced this too. However, upon sizing it correctly, this was mitigated. Like any piece of equipment, proper usage is necessary.

I had the previous version of this hat, and I'll preface with it was the best hiking/backpacking hat maybe ever made. It was top quality (or so I thought), and the fit was perfect. Unfortunately the clasp broke in half during a hike in Kauai, so Arcteryx replaced it under warranty. This is where the new design comes in when I ordered the replacement - and the fit is terrible. They made it larger in circumference, taller in the worst way, more boxy, and the fit is just not good all the way around albeit does feel like it has the Arcteryx quality still which is the only saving grace. They need to back to the drawing board and bring back the prior design that made everyone fall in love with this; the updates/changes are just bad. I cannot recommend this hat, especially for the cost. Please fix your error, Arcteryx, and bring back the hat that we all love.

I bought this hat thinking a trucker hat for sport would be the best. Unfortunately I was wrong. It is not confortable and looks super bulky. It could be better.

You guys say that you listen to customer reviews, there is thousands of people online asking you to bring back the old design. This bulky mesh front looks way worse and feels not as great on your head. BRING BACK THE OLD TRUCKER CAP

I was excited to see this new version of Trucker Hat being sold thinking they listened and returned the previous design. Unfortunately it's the same new bulky version of once best hat on the market... The images are misleading - the model with a black hat on is the previous version of this hat that is not sold anymore. PLEASE return the old design

bring back the old version back what have you done with the model? it has a wierd front with an awkward curve on top of the cap. I bought the old version twice and was my fav cap of all time. sad.

Please, please please bring back the older version of this with the smooth front. This version has a weird puffy panel in the front and looks so different and odd. The previous version of this hat was PERFECT and was my favorite hat of all time.

Just absolutely garbage quality. Tried it on and didn't even buy. Save your money. Hard metal knot on the top, poor fit and the brim feels like cardboard and pinches your head.
