Great trail shoes. The perfect amount of cushioning and support. I really like them.
They do run a little big so you may want to try a 1/2 size down.

Tried many different trail runners, Hoka SG, Nike wild horse, salamon, Merrel, etc. Also tried the Altamesa 500 and the 300 won out. The 500 same size felt much bigger and almost a bit sloppy but definitely more Cush but these NF300 really feel supportive and therefore I'll be keeping them. material looks like it will hold up and they feel great on the feet.
I'd also recommend:

Excellent support for arch and heels, very soft and maneuverable upper and cushioned sole. The only change I would want to see is a heavy tongue, instead of the skinny flap. 300 is much better than its counter variant 500. Glad to see that Northface is becoming almost as good as the Glycerin Max 2 by Brooks.

My "4th" pair of North Face shoes, but the first with this much cushion. I've had Clyffe, sandals, and another style. But these are the cushioniest of them all. Great little spring in my step with design. Shoes light, and great for most anything I've thrown at them. Gotten them soaked once, and dried up in no time. I expect, I'll probably nab another pair.

Great gear! Not a super runner or exercise every day. Cushion soles a good compromise between the super thick like Hoka and zero. Light curve design gives a good push off in runs. I was surprised by water resistance too when caught in a quick drizzle.
