Incredibly uncomfortable. The strap across the toes rubbed the top layer of skin off of my fourth toe. I have narrow feet, this has never happened to me

This is such a cute shoe but incredibly narrow! My feet aren't wide they are average. I couldn't even get my toes into the end of it. Is this made for a child??
