My father tested the short sleeve and it fit fine but he is a small and we ordered it in medium. The fabric is smooth and felt silky, which is great for keeping warm during the cold season in California. The design seems typical, theres nothing so outstanding about it so I wouldnt know how to differentiate it from other brands. He did like the lightweight feel and softness of the fabric. It is easy to wash and can be easily washed by hand.

This shirt was for my son, who is training for the upcoming baseball season and new to running. The material is really nice, comparable in appearance to similar athletic shirts he has already from other brands, but noticeably softer. Kept him dry and comfortable on runs, and without any chafing, which hes prone to. This is a great basic and weve already recommended to friends. Ill be looking for more for him, and for me!

The material is definitely breathable, and the fit has been spot on for both active and relaxed days. Material is stretchy but tight to the fit. It will accentuate bodily features. The collar usually causes an uncomfortable feeling around the neck, but I did not find this as an issue when wearing the shirt. Absorbtion of sweat is as typical with this type of material, laundry method is as standard without compromising the quality over time.

Great shirt, looks good, feels great while training, and fits great. Tight in the right places and loose in the right places. One thing that really stands out with this shirt above any of my other shirts is how soft it is. Hands down softer than any of my other shirts. Only reason I took away one star is because I noticed some of the stitching in the arm is coming apart already. Other than that I love the shirt.

This brooks running shirt is perfect for any activity. I love wearing it around the house to relax in because of how soft it feels. I also wear it for weight lifting and running because it is breathable, light weight and doesnt rub during repetitive movements. Im six feet tall with an athletic build and the medium fits me perfectly.

This is a very comfortable t-shirt that can be worn for working out or for casual wear around the house or to sleep. It is moisture wicking which is perfect for working out or playing tennis, which is my go-to sport. I also wear it around the house just for its breathability and comfort. Its true to size and looks great on!

This shirt is really quite incredible. It fits my body perfectly. I got a size XL, and most XLs are a little bit large, so I'd say it might run a tad small. Size up if you're on the fence between sizes. The shirt feels amazing. It's so lightweight and breathable. The fabric is soft to touch (not swishy like some lightweight fabrics). The shirt is incredibly comfortable to wear while running and doing other activities (e.g., I've taken it rock climbing, running, to the beach, etc.) or just around the house. The design is pretty conservative (which isn't necessarily negative!). For me, I prefer not to stand out with bright neons and such. It has a nice more tailored cut to the fabric, which you'd expect from athletic wear. The color is dark, and there wasn't noticeable reflective aspects to the shirt, so I would be concerned wearing this at night/early morning without additional visibility-enhancing gear (reflective gloves, hat, lights, something). Again, the fabric and material selection is really great. It's lightweight, breathable, and offers UV protection for sunny days. It's a stretchy material, but still soft and comfortable enough to wear around the house. It doesn't cling to your body (some lightweight fabrics get really static-y, but this one doesn't), so that was nice. In summary, I liked the fit and comfort of wearing the shirt in a variety of environments and settings. The only thing I'd change is possible adding some reflective elements to enhance visibility of the runner in low-light conditions. Otherwise, this is a pretty incredible addition to my closet.

This is by far the most comfortable shirt I have worn in a while. The fitting is just right and material is super soft and comfortable. It is sweat wicking and when running and lifting, it doesnt feel heavy. The color and design is very subtle with only a tiny branding on the bottom of the shirt. I threw it in the wash and in the dryer and the sizing is still perfect and it hasnt shrunk or deformed. It is my new favorite gym shir. I just wish it was a little cheaper. At $50 a shirt it is quite pricey. You bet Ill be keeping an eye out for sales!

The shirt fits well. I'm 6'1", 200 lbs, around 15% BF and the large size is just right. It has a good length too so it keeps me covered when I do things like pull ups or overhead presses. The fabric is soft and stretchy, moves well, and doesn't restrict any of my movements. It breathes well and doesn't feel too damp after my cardio. I have been wearing it exclusively 5 days/week for running, biking, and weight lifting and may only get around to washing it once, maybe twice, a week and it has been surprisingly low-stink.

I can work up a huge sweat at the gym, and by the time I finish my 5 minute drive home, I'm already dry! Feel: The feel of the fabric is smooth and soft. The materials immediately feel more premium than other polyester blend athletic shirts. It's light without feeling flimsy. Fit: I am 5'11", 155 lbs, and the medium fits me perfectly. The sleeves are a comfortable length and width which allows for full arm mobility, and the torso drapes down comfortably. I appreciated that it was a relaxed fix without being boxy. Looks: The subtle heathered grey/black color looks great and provides a nice visual texture. Overall: The Luxe Short Sleeve shirt is a great all-around athletic shirt that feels and performs very premium.

The luxe short sleeve lives up to its name - the fit is flattering and the feel is soft and breathable. I prefer my clothes not to have bold branding on them and the discrete Brooks logo on the bottom of the tee is unobtrusive and clean. I tend to sweat a lot when working out and this wicked away moisture so well and didnt leave crazy sweat stains in the process. I love having it in my rotation and whenever its clean its my go to for cross training in the gym or on the bike!

This shirt has a flattering fit. I am 6'2"/190 lbs and a large size was actually long enough at the waist for once. It hugs the chest and arms nicely. The fabric is soft and has a luxurious feel to it. It is well designed for running, weight lifting, hiking and cross training. My favorite aspect of the shirt is the tailored fit (without feeling restrictive) and how well it breathes when training. The only thing I would change is adding more color options. I would recommend this to folks looking for a great everyday training or outdoor adventure shirt.

This luxe short sleeve shirt is the perfect top for running, cross training, and lounging. It fits true to size (Im a 55 female weighing around 125 pounds and the small fits perfectly) on a slim, athletic built. I do feel the arm sleeve length is a little long but recognize it is probably appropriate for a male. My favorite feature is the silky smooth feel of the shirt. At the same time, it feels cool and seems to whisk away heat. There is good length and it moves well with motion. It is not restrictive and does not interfere with my running. In my opinion, the best shirts are not even noticeable. Training clothes should not interfere or distract from the task at hand. The rectangular shape leans masculine, but it is by no means boxy. I find myself reaching for it when I do not want tight, form-fitting wear around my belly. Its still sleek enough with a slightly heathered pattern which is an upgrade from a plain solid tee shirt. Overall, Ive added this quality, well fitting, comfortable luxe short sleeve shirt to my regular rotation. Please add more colors!

The fabric feels comfortable, light, stretchy, thin, and breathable but not like its going to tear. Great for running outside in warm weather so Im looking forward to the summer. The shirt is longer than average so that Im not showing midriff when I raise my arms which I like the most about a workout shirt if I use it for lifting weights. The size large runs like a large tall. At the same time, the shirt is stretchy and contours to your body. If there was one thing I would change, it would be to make it a little less stretchy. After one wash it hasnt noticeably shrunk or become scratchy. The design is horizontal lines of black and dark gray but looks dark gray from a distance.

It rubbed. Tried it out on a warm, humid day, and by around the 4km mark, I was having to pull it away from my chest. The pain subsided after about a day. Otherwise, I liked it: lightweight, reasonably breathable, and the color worked: yellow, visible without being too obnoxious. Returned, will keep looking.

Not recommended for humid/summer long runs. Fine for recovery runs but absorbs far too much sweat for runs over 5 miles. I will use as a base layer during the cooler months.

First the positive. It fit very well. loose enough to be comfortable, but tight enough not to bounce or anything. The material was great for keeping cool and I predict it would be a great winter base layer as well. Overall, I really liked it...or wanted to. The chafing was rough in Alabama humidity. I tried 4-5 runs in it to see if I would develop a tolerance, but I did not. I decided I would have to attach a tube of Aquaphor to it or send it back. I ended up returning it. Great shirt if you live in a dry climate or if you do not chafe easily.

Shirt is comfortable and I like the cut, but I ran two miles in it today and my nipples are on fire from chafing. Haven't ever had that issue with the multiple Atmosphere shirts that I own, but those don't seem to be offered in solid light colors anymore. I won't run in this shirt anymore but might keep it for more casual wear.

Comfortable fabric, but on a long run the sleeves and neck hole get loose and floppy which needed constant readjustment. Probably a great shirt for someone who doesn't sweat as much as I do or for shorter runs.
