I wear these shorts every time I work out, usually running, doing the elliptical, strength training, or biking. These are the most comfortable and functional shorts I have ever owned! They are silky smooth against your skin. You can feel the quality and durability in the fabric, too. I have washed them several times and they have held up really well so far. They fit true to size- a little snug by design. I really appreciate the inner panel to prevent chafing and the breathable fabric which will be especially beneficial this summer. My other favorite thing about these shorts are the storage! I have never owned a pair of shorts that have this many convenient pockets. The pockets are actually functional, being able to hold your phone or anything else you might need to have with you. I love the blue color and the overall look of these shorts. I plan on buying a few more pairs to have a variety of colors. I honestly can't think of anything I would change about these shorts. I would highly recommend these to any runner or anyone who is active and anyone who is looking for good quality, comfortable shorts.

When I received these shorts I immediately knew theyd be perfect for my wifes workout apparel wardrobe. She is constantly looking for new pieces that fit right into her closet and that she can mix and match with existing pieces. These shorts fit the bill. They are true to size, lightweight, and the style works with just about any top. She started using them once a week for nightly runs and has loved them. I think theyre her new go-to!

These are some seriously awesome shorts. The high quality is noticeable immediately upon picking them up, and you can tell that these are made to last. There is substantial stitching and a great fabric that is thick enough to be supportive and not see through, while also maintaining breathability. Went out for a quick run and everything stayed in place without creeping up or sagging down. My phone with 6 display felt secure in the back pocket and the side pockets were used for keys and headphones. Im so glad that these shorts have pockets and that they are generously sized. My only recommendation for improvement would be to add a zipper to one of them for items that need that extra piece of mind. I normally wear a medium, and found the fit of these shorts to be true to size. Overall, the Spark Tight is a great pair of exercise shorts for running or pretty much any activity. These will be my go to shorts for the summer, and it would be great to see more color options become available.

Starting this with the fact that I sized up to a large from a medium and I probably shouldn't have. I did this because I wanted something I could move easily in & didn't want it to create any uncomfortable tightness in my belly. However, it seems I am definitely between sizes because they were slightly large on me. In saying that, I still wore them & they were lovely! The color and feel of the fabric was comparable to other very high end athletic wear, and the pockets were sooo handy for keys/ phone during weight lifting and running. I'm getting back in shape from my first child and have not worked out actively or ran in a while but have slowly been getting back into it. I'm running outside and inside and lifting at the gym. I appreciated the longer length for my runs in the cold outside and inside on the treadmill. Never felt like I got too hot or overly cold in them (even though it was chilly out!) There was no rolling down at the waist or riding up at the legs or chafing, which I definitely appreciated. Also, I've been able to get some great casual wear out of them by putting them under an oversized tshirt or sweatshirt (very Princess Di 1980s look!) I suspect I will start wearing these during yoga as well, as the lack of rolling at the waist and on the legs is promising for yoga, too! As the weather gets warmer, I will be wearing them more and more, just hope they don't get too big on me - if I'm able to get back into better shape! (Not yet comfortable showing myself in tighter fitting clothing, so I did not attach a photo! Sorry!)

I was disappointed that Brooks had removed some of the spandex in this short from the previous version. I ordered the same size as the momentum which I have 3 pairs and the new ones are way too large. Additionally I can no longer use the pockets for gels or my phone as the size has been cut in half in the width. They'd be great if you wanted to run with a couple of ink pens, but not my necessities:(

Wanted to like these Super cute! Great color (red), great material (not see through) butttttt (no pun intended) material rides up when walking around with them, I didn't even try to run in them, because nothing more annoying then having to continually pull shorts down while running. I will say my waist is a XS, hips/thighs S according to the metrics, so may have something to do with the bad fit?

I don't like them as much as the method ( which I have in every color) but they're okay. The side pockets are smaller on these as well. I can barely fit my iPhone 13 in the pocket. I probably won't buy another of these

I order both a small and extra small. The small were very roomy in the waist and had loose fabric in the hips. The extra small fit better but I am not a big fan of high waist. There was not as much loose fabric in the hips and the waist fit more snug. I just didn't like the look of the high wais and I was hoping they would be more of a compression fit for ultramarathon runs or just loner runs. I am 5'6" 110lbs slender but muscular build

I LOVED the Method 8" shorts. I have tons of them they are my go to for races and long runs, and pretty much everything in between. The waistband on these shorts is horrid. The thin band at the top cuts into your waist, the pockets are narrow, and the compression isn't the same. Bring back the method!!
