I love Sorel. However this shoe ran small. I typically size up to a size 9. Based on reviews I sized up to a 9.5 and the fit was just right. However, I did not like the look of the shoe on my foot. I wanted to love this shoe but I did not. Sadly, I returned them.

The fit was tight, small toe area, and straight and heel rise were going to give a blister. Will have to return. Sadly.

Ordered these in white and black. Absolutely love the white colored version. Keeping the white pair despite rubbing elastic at Achilles. Returning black version as the black version is less appealing to me visually + the rubbing back elastic issue.

I found these to be very attractive Mary Janes that, if they fit, would solve a lot of my shoes issues. Alas, too narrow, a bit short, so it was not a delightful fit at all. The strap is annoyingly stretchy -- yes, it's a band of wide elastic -- and not long enough either.

I have three pairs of Sorel's, all true to size (12 medium). These are significantly more narrow and too small -- I actually checked to see if the right size had been shipped. Back they go. Too bad, they would have been a good walking shoe.

These are the shoes that Steve Martin had in mind when he wrote "Cruel Shoes". I couldn't wait to get them off my feet and back into the return box! They squeezed my toes so badly that I couldn't bear to have them on my feet.
