Fits true to size. I have a wider than normal toe box and these work well for me. I wouldn't use them for exercising but for everyday wear they are my go-to. The waterproof feature is a bonus. I'm in my mid 50s and I get complements from people my age as well as half my age. I would buy again.

Came as advertised… waterproof. Looks great, size/width were fine…. But the shoe ( for some reason) is very heavy. Putting that aside…. It worked. Thanks.

I wear these A LOT and I regularly get compliments. They are lightweight, breathe nicely and are waterproof. They also clean up easily. I will purchase again.

The back is thin but stiff, without padding, so you can't easily just stuff your foot in without tying them unless you keep the laces quite loose. The "waterproofing", i.e. the part of the tongue that overlaps the underside of the shoelace eyelets, doesn't extend all the way to the top, but is probably enough to keep rain out if you're wearing normal pants. Overall I really like the casual style. Unlike other styles I considered, I'm not worried about them looking bad after normal toe scuffing.

The shoe fits fine with thin socks though the same size from other brands can accommodate thicker socks. Also, the shoe is pretty heavy. That said, I liked the shoe's color, texture, and aesthetics.

The Sorel metro II low waterproof is a good looking shoe. The lug sole helps it not appear 'orthotic' since it is black on black. Definitely follow the recommendation and go up half a size. They accommodated my wide-ish feet well. Unfortunately the end of the tongue is rigid and long and it dug into the front of my ankle. I can't imagine they would ever break-in enough to be comfortable which is sad because the shoe checks all other boxes.

These shoes are very wide. If you have wide feet, you might like them, but I don't so they were not for me. Style was okay, but the shoe was surprisingly heavy. Not boot heavy, but heavier than a casual sneaker typically is.

Too heavy

fit fine. But they are soo heavy and clunky. and they were dirty on the toe on one shoe. Returned
