Love this shoe. Have tendonitis and mostly wear tie shoes with an insert. The Cole Haan fit and my foot have a thing going on!

The shoes feel a tad longer I think because the toe is a little pointy and the width feels very comfortable. I sent one pair back because the heel in one seemed to slip, but the second pair seems to be fine in both shoes. I have not worn them yet, but I think they will look fine with pants this summer. The insoles are not as soft as I would like, but that is true of most shoes so I will replace those.
I'd also recommend:

I love these shoes, they are very cute and stylish. I have 2 pair and everyone always asks me where did I get them. They are very comfortable shoes to wear for long periods of time. I normally wear a size 8, but in these in a size 8 was to big. So I returned them and got a 7.5 and they fit perfect. These would be really cute in some spring and fall colors.

These are a great alternative to dressier shoes and just running shoes. There should be more styles like this.
I got the Rye knit, good for summer.
They could have spent another 2 cents and gave shoelaces that were an inch or two longer. Also the gold overlay on the tongue is unnecessary and prevents them from being unobtrusive.
Overall it meets the very narrow shoe criteria that I have to live with, which is not easy to do.

The most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. My feet have a high instep and are between a medium and wide. The medium was perfect. I could walk all day with these.
