The form fitting stretchy ankle is very cute with the trending straight ankle jeans. It’s a flattering look on the ankle. The boot itself is not that comfortable. It doesn’t have much cushion and it’s very tight. I think I might size up a half a size. I do really like the look and fashion of the boot. I just wouldn’t wear it to walk long distances.

Surprisingly cute for the money- great buy. I usually wear a 7.5 but the 7 fit like a they wear made for me. Sturdy materials that will wear well. I wouldn’t walk a mile in these but they are so cute I will wear them out this fall/winter quite a bit. I purchased both the dark brown and the light brown- the dark brown look better to me. I’ll assume most people would prefer more cushion, but I am ok with the less than cush feel, reminiscent of early Frye boots. If you want to add an insole, thicker socks- get your normal size or a half size up. I tend to fall on the narrow end of medium with with a narrow heel.

This boots are beautiful, I want to have every color. In my opinion this run large. I’m usually in between 6 and 6 1/2 and I order a 6 1/2 and feels more like a 7. If you want the extra space then I’ll be alright for you, I normally wear thin socks. I have narrow ankle and I love how it looks.

I could not get this shoe on my foot. A struggle and way too tight on top of foot & painful. Needs a zipper or something. It’s too bad cause they are really cute.

Ugly color -- it's not the pretty brown/taupe in the photos -- it's more of a drab green/beige. The suede and stitching looks a little cheap as well. Can't speak to the size or fit as I didn't even bother trying them on.

Narrow heels? They stay in place! High instep? After pulling them on for 5 seconds, they fit like a glove. Wide foot? Try sizing up. I have been looking for boots through Zappos for 2 weeks, and I've tried on a lot of boots. I am a size 6-6.5 Wide, with narrow heels and a high instep. I chose a 6.5 and they only come in Medium. Alas, they weren't wide enough, but otherwise fit nicely, so I'll take them to the shoe repair shop to have them widened. The insoles aren't comfortable like Comfortiva, but as one reviewer stated, "I'm not going to walk a mile in them." At least my foot isn't pinched in the front, while swimming in the back, like in most boots. And they are cute!

Love Steve Madden and have purchased this style of shoe from the company before and it fit great. This one seemed much shorter and tighter.

Not comfortable at all, much smaller than a standard size 6, which is what I ordered.

Theyre nice boots but the brown suede dont look as rich and saturated in color as online…

Usually a 7.5 or 8, ordered 8 and it was waaaay to tight and zero comfort.

The boots are nice but BEWARE of the sizing comments!!! I've had to return these twice! I read the comments about it running large, and considering the comments, along with Zappo's size recommendation, I ordered a full size up. I exchanged for a half size down, and still too big. I ended up having to return and order my normal size in Steve Madden!

I have Steve Madden booties from last year and I love them! I could barely get my foot into these and they were squeezing the top of my foot and heel. I’m a regular 6.5 and sizing up wouldn’t have even helped because they were long enough just wayyy to tight all around. Bummer!

Terrible fit. Very clunky. Big around the ankle. In person it’s not a cute shoe at all

My daughter has these and loves them and warned me to order half size larger, so I was able to get my foot into this one. It was still extremely stiff, difficult to walk in and painful! Probably needed to go up a full size or size and a half and still cannot see how it could be walked it it was so stiff!! I have bunions but can still wear pointy high heels if the material is suede or malleable. These are for baby feet and they will destroy them!!
