I've become a huge Saucony fan the last few years, and I went through 5+ pairs of EP3. The EP3 was a great show, and the only minor complaint was the tongue being too short.
The EP4 has a longer tongue with a cool foldover feature. But the tongue is attached, so when the laces are tight, it folds over itself. It's not uncomfortable, but it does require a bit of manual adjustment every time I put on the shoes. The stretchy upper and laces also require tightening a bit more than you would thing, but the fit is great once you get it dialed in.
Performance-wise, the EP4 have the best stability and comfort of the many super shoes I've tried. I put nearly all of my miles on these shoes, and they work well for everything from recovery runs to fast intervals.
However, while these shoes are great for going fast, on race day other shoes will give you a bit more performance.

This is a really nice upgrade with a roomy toe box. Only issue I have is that the insoles are glued in and cannot be removed. These shoes are not a good option if you need to remove them and replace with orthotics or inserts.

Im very happy with my new Endorphin Pro 4s. Nice upgrade from my Pro 2s. Been out on a few training runs these last few weeks. The true test will be a half marathon coming up this weekend. They are very comfortable and light. I really like the extra spring I get from the carbon plate.

I went with the EP4 over the Alphafly2 for my most recent marathon and was able to go under 3 hrs and quality for Boston. They felt fast and bouncy right out of the box. The only gripe I have is the durability of the weave upper which is starting to develop a hole near the laces. I have already glued them to stop the tearing. Other than that, everything is great. The outsole has great texture and really grips the road. Overall excellent shoe that I would highly recommend!

No point in wearing these if I'm not going marathon pace or faster. Made for speed. Great race day shoe. Felt like I was floating when I picked up pace.

Very good shoes, which is a shame because the Endorphin Pro 3 was a great shoe and this is a step backwards. On the plus side, the shoes are comfortable and run great right out of the box. They are lightweight and the styling is improved. Legs feel great on runs from 5k to half. On the down side, they lack the snappy, fast feel of the Endorphin Pro 3, maybe even less than the Endorphin Pro 1. Race paces are down from recent runs in the retiring Pro 3.

Run in this sneaker as my daily trainer. Love the carbon plate although use my Hoka Rocket X as my race sneaker because their carbon plate provides an even better bounce and recovery.

All I can say is wow. Ive been using newtons, and I decided to make the jump to a super shoe. This was like using a DOS computer in the 1990s going to sleep and waking up in 2024 and being given a Mac. These shoes actually make you faster. The fit is great and they look awesome as well. Very happy

I purchased about a month ago and although they are comfortable, they are tearing from the base of the shoelace. I would expect that it will continue to tear and had to return them. Hoping for a better pair in the future since I could not order my current size

The ride is great, but my second run in these resulted in a painful bruise atop my foot that required me to stop running for several days just as I was prepping for a race. In fairness, I had used an orthotic that may not have worked well in combination with this shoe. After removing the orthotic and getting creative with lacing, I am now running in the shoe again, pain free. However, for my narrow foot, the Pro 3 was a better, sleeker fit. The Pro 4 by comparison feels too bulky with excess material that bunches up the tongue when you cinch up the laces, and Ive spent a lot of time trying to get the Pro 4 snug but not constrictive. In my size 12.5 the Pro 4 is a half ounce heavier than the 3, and the difference is noticeable in a bad way, slowing my turnover. I appreciate the effort to stop the tongue from sliding back down into the shoe like it does on the Pro 3, but weve just exchanged one problem for another while adding unnecessary weight, all for $225 plus tax and shipping. These shoes have great tech under foot and could be amazing if subsequent versions offer a more comfortable, simpler, weight-efficient lockdown. Thank you, Saucony, for continuing to innovate and push the envelope. Keep at it.

I have both the Pro 3 and Pro 4s, and prefer the Pro 3 for its comfort and with a slim foot I fit the Pro 4 has a bit of a bigger toe box. I do think the overall look of the shoe surpasses the Pro 3. But if you have a slim foot and are ) feet and skinny like me the Pro 3 may be your ideal shoe.
The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I fit it doesn't fit like a true 10.5, I feel like it fits like an 11. My Pro 3 10.5 fit like a true 10.5.

Fantastic shoe. I'm 6'3 350lbs and use it to walk most of the time. I'm a size 13 W so the only complaint is the middle of the shoe is narrow. Toe box felt great. My shins and knees feel good.
I do 2 miles a day in them and my feet are still fresh after the walk. When I lose 50lbs, then I will use them to run. The shoe has a pushing forward motion that makes my feet go faster. Great design.

Great job Saucony with the Pro 4. Ive run in all the Pros and 2 of the endorphin speeds. The version 4 pro in my opinion has three big positive changes from the 3. I think the bounce with each stride is felt more than the 3 , the grip on the outsole is awesome, and lastly and my favorite change is the tongue. The Pro 3 tongue was absolutely horrible to try and keep it from riding down into my shoe , when this happened then the laces would lie on top of my foot , so aggravating and uncomfortable. I actually dont have any issues or negative feedback on this new Pro 4. Thank you Saucony!

I bought this shoe for my Birthday Race. Not only did I receive the wrong shoe (speed 4) but also a womans shoe. I know its a busy season with the launch of the new endorphin line but its quite a big mistake. With spring races coming up youd expect a company like saucony to be more careful when preparing orders. Very disappointed and bummed I wont have a race shoe for my big birthday race.

I've been buying Saucony Endorphin shoes for years and this was the first pair without a removable insole. That's an immediate return for me since I always use my own insoles.

The sole is too narrow where it meets the heel cup and I can feel my heel overlapping the sole. The tongue is a disaster. Other than that it's a nice shoe, fix those problems and you'd have a winner.

I had two pairs of Speed 2 and one pair of Pro 2. Love Pro 2 the most. But I have to say that Pro 4 has lost its way. It feels like a stability shoe rather than a performance shoe. I tried my best to run it a few times on road and track. I had to return it. It's not the performance shoe that I am looking for.

The shoes are good but they feel different than the P3 version.
Personally, the shoe is a little narrow in the front, I would have liked them to use the same type
of Elite more open in the part of the fingers.
The sensation at the 3:30 mpk pace is good but there is still something missing in energy return.
The number was a little big on me, 11.5 compared to the previous one, but with some thick socks it was solved.
I think it is a good shoe but it is not at the level of an asics sky+ or sky+ paris.
I use them for training all week with an average of 100k, they feel good on training days of 30k or more.
but I would have liked it
Reduce weight.
More energy return.
More stability in the front of the foot.

Where do I begin 300 miles on the pro 3, great amt of cushion light weight great rocker, now the pro 4 has similar qualities except the plate feels much stiffer not a fan of that which for me caused forefoot hot spots after 5 to 6 miles , which is not a long run shoe for me.
