I've been wearing a 9.5 Ghost for several years but for some reason the 16 has a much tighter and uncomfortable fit as if it's a smaller size. Instead of the sizing runaround of exchange is with Brooks I'll be going to Asics Gel Nimbus. Either size up or find another shoe

The shoe is like trying to walk on a pillow. It makes it hard to even walk correctly

Surprisingly uncomfortable around the heel. My feet hurt after wearing them the entire day. Never had this experience with Brooks, had many previous Ghost versions. Returned.

I love Brooks and have referred them to many of my colleagues that also agree. After a 12hr shift on your feet, they are amazing. However, this particular shoe did not at all fit well.

I don't know what happened but the Ghost 16 shoe I recently purchased lacks the cushioning and support I'm used to. It's like running with concrete strapped to my feet. I've been through at least 4 or 5 pairs of the Ghost brand over the past year or so and they've all been great up til now. I'm having to use an older pair now since this new one is so bad. Do you folks have any quality control? Odd that this new pair is clearly different than what I've bought before.

Runs at least a half size small.

I wanted to like these afterall they were recommend by my PT & it's "Brooks the running company". Alas, even in wide these shoes were too tight all around for my feet. They look cool that's the only positive feedback I can give. As soon as I put them on my feet said "no".

Did not like them at all. Too tight all over. Returned them.

Worst Ghost model and I have been wearing the Ghost models since the 6. The footbed is off and the toebox is already bent up. Unable To wear after 5 months of walking use. Frustrated that shoe companies release new models year after year with "improvements" that most of the time make the models worse. Last Brooks Ghost for me after 10 + years.

Don't like Them.Should have brought the Revel. Thought I'd try Ghost..but can't wear them. Not comfortable.

I've been running in Ghosts since the Ghost 14. I started wearing Ghosts after being frustrated by the decrease in quality in the Asics Cumulus. Before that left Nike and NB started making their shoes narrower. It seems that Brooks might be following this trend. I found the Ghost 16s to be narrower (not comfortable for my D width feet) and seemingly smaller too (my toes feel like they're in constant contact with the front of the shoe). Are running shoes trying their hand at shrinkflation too? I hope the Ghost 17s are better.

I'm a PE teacher and I only wear these shoes on my gym floor. They were comfortable at first but the plastic by my big toe began to bend and now it digs into the side of my toes which makes them VERY uncomfortable to wear.

I didn't like them. I sent them back

I've been purchasing the Ghost for close to 10 years and have been happy. Unfortunately the pair I received is too small. I'm hopeful I can get a replacement.

thoroughly disappointed. I've been wearing ghost for years finding them to be one of the few predicatably comfortable, supportive shoes. my gait beats up the heels and they crush out pretty quickly but they've always been comfortable out of the box. Not so with the 16. not sure what happened, but these feel like treading on waffles, plus even the wide squeezed my instep. extremely uncomfortable. returned mine and will likely never reconsider.

The recommendation from your website for the size I needed was incorrect. After 3 weeks I tossed them as they were too tight. I am now researching options and will make a decision soon.

Unfortunately, the shoe was very tight. I have been buying Brooks Ghost - Wide version for the last few years and have been very happy with them. However, this one was very tight - don't know why.

After one month the heal was worn down ! Would appreciate a refund/or discount coupon

Very narrow across the toe box and uncomfortable. Same size I have worn in the past, very disappointed in this version.

Not up to the comfort/quality of the Ghost 15. Very disappointing but thankful for their 90-day return policy.
