I purchase my Ghosts from Brooks Running online to prevent buying imitation shoes. I've purchased Ghosts since Ghost 10. I have always liked the comfort as soon as I put them on. However, the Ghost 16 pair I recently bought feel stiff and uncomfortable in the ankle padding. The insoles are also hard and uncomfortable. It seems to me that the quality of materials used changed after the Ghost 15.

Tongues are too short and a seam on the tongue of the right shoe is defectively sewn. This causes some discomfort at times; most annoying. It seems quality control is an issue. Also narrows are NEVER narrow enough anymore. ( They used to be.) C'mon Brooks, get it right!

It ran a little small. Bought for grandson in Army. Bought normal size he wears. It's a little too small.,too hard to return so we'll just lose out on the money. May try one size bigger next time.

After trying these on at a local store, I ordered online. I loved the ghost 15, however dispute the similar for I am not thrilled with the shorter and fatter ghost 16. The overall feel is clunky and slow. The nitrogen heal is definitely stable and soft but it throws off the toe box creating an inconstant foot strike which feels slippery when moving quickly. The laces are too short and too fat Hopfly you can bring back the older version ghost 15 was prime

Neutral review: I had to return the ghost 16s due to the big change in fit. The front foot became more narrow and it no longer accommodates my foot. The ghost 15s fit great, and I'm disappointed I have to look for a different shoe.

I love the ghost 15 for both road running and treadmill running. I do a lot of treadmill running and need a sneaker with cushion. The Ghost 15 was perfect for both outdoor and indoor. Sadly, the ghost 16 are not as cushiony and causing me issues running on the tread. I have been getting foot pain in my right foot and starting to develop plantar fasciitis. I switch back to my old ghost 15 and noticed my foot pain/plantar fasciitis is getting better. I will be retuning the 16.

I like the sizing of the shoe, and I find that I like larger toe boxes, which this shoe has. However, the new Ghost 16s feel like they have lost cushion compared to the last generation. Which sucks for road runners like myself.

They are just okay. Definitely are made for short , 5K to 10k road only shoes. Cushioning is very subpar compared to other brands I have ran in. Fit is good to size. Rough on the feet if you try to go on a trail, if it larger rock and not crushed, you will feel like you are not wearing shoes!

Unfortunately the toe box is shallow despite the wide width. Have to return the running shoes.

I've bought this brand and size many times before, though not this particular model of sneaker. But this pair is about a half size too small so they are going back.

I usually love brooks only shoe I have worn for 15+ years from marathons to everyday. But I have noticed the quality has been very subpar lately. I can usually get a year out a shoe. I usually rotate between three different Brooks throughout the year. I am hard on them 10 miles a day minimum. Though this last batch has only been less than 6 months and they are already coming apart from the glue, stitching, and the soles are even smooth already. I’m quite disappointed. My score is based on months of wear and while they still look and feel great they just don’t last anymore. Going to have to try something new or buy 6 a year I guess

These shoes have a lot more feedback than I expected. There was also less arch support than other Brooks shoes I've run in. The most disturbing aspect was the way the insole bunched up if it got wet from sweat or water. The soles have held up well so far.

Been wearing the Ghost since #10, this was my first problem model. Toe box is way too tight and hasn't opened up even after break in.

I bought these after an ankle surgery and they were the only shoe i had that did not hurt when rehabbing. But after two month i step off a curb and the angle caused the shoe to split at the wear the side connects to the soul. Over all a really comfortable shoe but I cannot justify the cost for a product that does not hold up.

I've run quite a bit in these shoes and there is less cushioning than expected. The biggest issue with this pair is the insole bunches uncomfortably if it gets too wet from sweat or water. I don't recommend these for humid environments...I had to pull the insoles for the last half of a run.

This is my second pair of Brooks that I've owned. I own the same model in a different color. But for some reason, this pair that I recently purchased off the Brooks website feels a little larger than the other pair that I have. I don't know if size 10 would fit better but I don't wanna return the 10 1/2 without trying on the tens first so I'm in the middle of a pickle. How do I try on tens without giving up the current shoes I have. I have noticed also That my knee hurts me after I wear these shoes, but when I wear my other pair of Brooks same model same size my knee does not hurt me.

Color selection is only in black. The wide width is not the typical width, smaller than usual.

The fit was a half size too small and uncomfortable to wear. The laces also seemed to be too short. This is the first Brooks shoe i have had that was bad.
