I absolutely love Ghost 16 (women) - I have five pairs of the 16s! I am not happy at all with the Ghost Max - I have two of those and the soles shred apart. Overall, I love Brooks shoes! The best ever was 13 and 15 was my least favorite.

Comfortable right out of the box. I don't wear them for running but they are very comfortable for wearing as footwear.

Really love these shoes, to me they have the perfect balance of being streamlined yet very supportive and cushioned.

Bought as relief for plantar fasciitis. Needed an everyday alternative to the Ghost Max series. Love the fit and feel of these for everyday wear. Liked them so well, I bought a second pair.

I love the shoes. My only complaint is that they run a little bit small and narrow, leaving them a bit small for me. I have other Brooks shoes that fit perfectly, so there's a definite difference in this style (gel 20?). I hope that they will stretch a tad as they get broke in. I still gave them a 5 star rating, as the overall satisfaction with the shoes is great.

The Ghost has been my preferred running shoe for many years. I am 180 lbs, 84 years old and have been averaging 600 or so miles a year for the past five years (1000 a year for 20 years prior. I get 350 to 400 miles before retiring the Ghost. The Ghost 16 took several 3 mile runs before it felt comfortable but now I love it just like all the previous models. Good cushioning. In my 60s I did 14 marathons in 6 years wearing Ghosts. No problems. Not fast but still reasonably fit.

Greatly enhanced cushioning than previous editions. I have owned several pairs, and their durability is among the best in the running/walking shoe world. I bought three pairs in the past month--one from Brooks "renew" which were half the price of new, one from a local running shoe store, and one at the sumer sale. The one from the store is slightly shorter/tighter in the big toe of the right shoe, but not enough to cause discomfort.

Comfortable all day. Good balance and good shock absorption.

This is a great shoe for walking and running. It fit well and was very comfortable right out of the box. If it last a good while, I will most likely replace them with new shoes from Brooks.

I do not run. But I do work long hours in a hospital. Healthcare workers all want and need quality, supportive, comfortable and fashionable footwear WITHOUT WHITE SOLES because nobody has the time or enthusiasm to clean shoes after wearing them in a gross hospital. If more options without white soles become available... we will buy them.
